Set 14, Cyber City, has received its final update! Read on to learn
about all the changes that have gone live on Wednesday in Teamfight
Tactics.
In a Nutshell
These next two weeks are your last chance to dive deep into the gritty underbelly of Cyber City. Like always, this final patch is on the smaller side and mostly focused on buffs, so that players can say goodbye to the set on a happier note.
In particular, several of the 5-costs have been buffed, as well as the slightly underperforming Nitro and Cypher traits. You can now reach Cypher (6), and to do so, you can now find an elusive Cypher Emblem in the game.
This is also the final patch of the Revival event, Remix Rumble. A beloved Revival for a beloved set—if you haven't tried it out yet, now's your last chance. Remix Rumble has also buffed several traits and units and you can read about those changes at the bottom of the article.
If Remix Rumble isn't your thing, you can always swap over to Choncc's Treasure to get a little break from the standard game mode. Choncc's Treasure will be playable for the duration of Patch 14.8!

System Changes
Rotating Shop Adjustments
Riot has begun experimenting with how long items stay in the Rotating Shop before being rotated out. Some players will continue to experience the normal tempo—new items every 14 days (each Patch). Some players will see changes every seven days, and some will see the Shop changing every two days. In the latter case, there will be fewer things in the store, but more things overall over the course of the patch.
Your Shop may look different from your friends’, but every item in the usual 14-day lineup will still appear during that same two-week window. All purchasables will return early during K.O. Coliseum to ensure nobody misses out on anything during this experimenting stage.
Game Mode Updates
Choncc’s Treasure
Enjoy Choncc’s Treasure for the next two weeks as we say goodbye to Cyber City, with these small changes:
New Opening Encounter: All players receive a Garen on stage 1-2.
The opening champion now has a 100% chance to be unique.
Item Removers no longer drop by default from PvE rounds. You've got a Golden (reusable) Item Remover to help with that.
Delayed Start and Restart Mission Augment are now disabled
Hyper Roll
This Patch marks Hyper Roll’s final patch as a permanent game mode. In a /dev video from two months ago, Riot explained that Hyper Roll was intended as a more casual game mode in which players could learn the game before jumping into standard and ranked queues. It was meant to provide a simpler experience where you wouldn’t have to worry about econ and could focus on getting to know the set mechanics, traits, and units.
However, in practice, due to the expedited pace of the game, Hyper Roll has become a more chaotic and, for some, stressful game mode—and not a useful learning tool. In the meantime, Tocker’s Trials has been released, and it scratches the exact itch Riot had looked for when visualizing Hyper Roll. Other for-fun game modes like Choncc’s Treasure, Pengu’s Party, and the Revival Events fulfill the niche of needing something more casual and fun to play when players need a break from standard TFT.
With all that in mind, Hyper Roll will stay for this final patch of Cyber City, and then its future is unclear, but there have been no promises for its return as a rotating game mode a la Tocker’s or Choncc’s.

Remix Rumble Changes
This is also the last patch of the Revival: Remix Rumble. Just like the Set itself, the Revival event was immensely popular with the player base and brought over the biggest increase in playership of any TFT set Revival to date, especially in China. If you haven’t given Remix Rumble a spin, now’s your last chance to pump up the jam!
