League of Legends (LoL) Question: S7 Tank Lux Meta?

Now before you completely call me an idiot for not knowing what I'm talking about, I think I might be onto something :). Even though your champion objective with lux is to kill the enemy as quick as possible, With S7's new Masteries and Lux's Hard CC ability, you can easily get an extra shield and bonus health from Courage of the Colossus. Since you are still squishy this won't do much, however with Health + Ap Items, could this work with items like; Rod Of Ages, Rylai's, Liandry's, Guardian Angel, Boots of Lucidity, and Zhonya's, or Abyssal depending on # of Ap or Ad Enemies. Your job in team fights would be to give as much crowd control as possible, also if this idea isnt half bad, where would it work? (In a Lane), if MF Support can be a thing, why not tank lux xD?
