I've been to Gamescom last year and there in Cologne the final of the LCS summer split between Fnatic and Alliance took place. I wasn't actually able to watch the game in the audience in front of the players but the game was also shown outside of the buildings. Besides, there also was a huge area built up by Riot Games. They interviewed some Riot developers, SK CandyPanda and played some games in font of the crowd. A lot of cosplayers were there as well, of course.

Thanks to Ubnoxius for this sig!
I've been to gamescom 3 times in a row, that's about it. Sadly planning is not a skill my friends nor I have so we didn't manage to actually see any League played, though we did see some pro players and cosplayers :)
Sadly Rito won't be at gamescom this year...

Really? I believe someone from my Uni works for Riot stall this year o .o

I went to Gamescom 2014 and watched most of the playoff games with Wayne, GMD and Penguin, it was pretty cool. I'm hoping I'll be able to go to some of the worlds games this year (rito pls london).
Professional tips (no idea if these apply to the regular LCS studio): get there early if you don't want to be standing up for an hour+, use the toilet before you go in and bring snacks and drinks because it goes on forever and it's pretty much impossible to get back in if you leave. Don't try to sit/stand on the steps, the burly security men will get very annoyed at you and possibly shout at you in German.
dont trip on the steps and hurt your knee because you were trying to take a picture of sjokz and krepo

I went to the World in Singapore, i forgot which day it was, but i remembered it was the day when Rekkles cried :(
Bought a lot of stuff from there too :)
Edit : also went to the lcs in cologne to last year but i forgot to buy ticket since i didn't know we were going there. So just looking from the outside XD
Edit: i don't know about regular lcs but in world all you need to do is bring a lot of money (seat is already set in ticket, they gave you the clapping thing) just need to buy food and additional accessories

Basically, title.
I went to see NUEL recently, I think it was their first championship if I'm not mistaken and even though it was quite small I enjoyed the whole thing quite a lot.
So I was thinking of going to a bigger event if my friends are up to it too and if the budget allows it.
Have any of you been to see LCS? Was it good? Any tips for someone who usually avoids this type of stuff?
