What did you guys this of CLG VS tl? I thought that the last game was one of the closest games I've seen in a while. Also holy **** from now on I'm going to ban Ekko in all of my ranked games.

I'm more of a fan of H2K than I am of Liquid these days, but ********, the ending of that 5th game made me sadder about Liquid's loss than of H2K's.
It's made worse by the fact that that interaction should definitely not be a thing, and if in the future Riot makes a change to make it more obvious when a double TP like that is happening, or prevents two TP's onto the same unit, just think that Piglet got caught and lost the series for his team purely because Riot hadn't yet gotten round to doing something about that interaction at the time.
Yeah you could argue, as I've seen on Reddit, "the tp looked stupid, it could only have been a bait and Piglet should have just played safe and backed off, instead he fell for it". But that's exactly it, from Piglet's perspective the TP was ******ed. He knew that everyone had recalled or were at 10-30% HP if they hadn't, so they wouldn't be a problem. In his mind the TP was just dumb because he could trap the minion they were TP'ing onto, and whether it was Poppy or whether it was Ryze, he could chunk them for a ton of damage then back away safe, staying out of their range the entire time. Both of them had used
Flash to escape on stupidly low HP in the last team-fight so he knew he was completely safe. He was playing the one ADC in the game that could safely punish that stupid TP, and so he did.
It was impossible for him to know that 2 people were about to emerge from that single TP animation, I've literally never seen that happen in any of my own games, and never seen it anywhere else until today. And even if it had occurred to him "what if there's 2 people TP'ing onto that minion?", there is absolutely no way he could tell whether it was true or not. Knowing whether the correct move was to punish it or back off is complete guesswork, and that's even only if you acknowledge that it's a possibility that two people are TP'ing onto a minion in one single animation, which I wouldn't have done and I doubt Piglet did.
Sigh. Piglet didn't deserve to lose that game. :( They were so close to acing CLG just 10 seconds earlier too, that's the worst part. Despite CLG having the superior late-game team comp AND being ahead, TL were the better team-fighters and it showed, so it was still anyone's game. And had Stixxay at least died in the last team-fight rather than surviving with this much HP, while both Poppy and Ryze also had about 10 and 20% HP respectively, then at least CLG wouldn't have been able to end after catching out Piglet. But he did, and Liquid lost for it.
Talk about unlucky, sigh.

I hope piglet doesn't take his throw too personally. He's known to get quite emotional.
Aside from that misplay, I think that he played quite well during the series, and that liquids weak pick and ban phase really hindered them the most in the series.
