Top lane karma is viable mostly for her dueling capabilities and her ability to punish melee bruisers with focus resolve. She has good poke and is very safe with Inspire. But more importantly she can counter all-ins with Renewal and can counter attack very well.
Personally i think she suffers from a mediocre team fight ability but has an incredible laning phase (especially with the PBE changes).

She has decent poke, sustain, and will scale regardless of how she does in lane.
If you want a Skillorder/Build I would look up Niko44. He plays primarily Karma top lane in Diamond I

For both kiting and sustain, maxing E second makes more sense. Maxing W increases its damage and the root duration, which is nice for teamfights, but the healing from Mantra'd W doesn't scale with W or Mantra's rank. Ranking up E increases the MS boost for kiting and the shield strength for sustain.
But it depends on the game, of course. Sometimes you need the root duration, sometimes you need the MS boost.

Karma is in a weird spot. Maxing Q seems to be the way to go for poke, but mantra-ing a Q seems totally pointless because it's so easy to run out. Maxing W and E probably wouldn't give you enough damage but because you're not mantra-ing your maxed ability you're damage is also hurting.
I've tried her a few times since the rework, aesthetically she's pleasing and the playstyle doesn't feel awful, but when you actually think about it, it's terrible. I'd personally be in favor of them bringing the explosion time on Mantra'd Q down to 1 second instead of 1.5 seconds

I'm not sure, Moon. A Mantra-d ability gets extra effects based on Mantra's rank, not the ability's rank. Using Mantra on an ability other than the one you're maxing should still be fine.

thats my source of where i heard about top lane karma being best at top lane rather than mid or support and even jungle
so yeah discuss what and how about this cuz i have no idea what and how and i wanna learn
