To disable Norton 360, open the notification area here:
on the triangle, then right click the Norton Icon. The disable options can be found here...

It gives me "Disable Smart Firewall" and "Disable Anti-Virus Autoprotect" options, my friends told me that wont shut it off completely and it'll still cause slow loading times, but they don't have Norton and could be saying it just to get me to uninstall it. Will disabling these help?

Fact: Norton Antivirus is a virus.
Yes, but it's a virus that was already paid for. I'll uninstall it before playing league, unless disabling "smart firewall" and disabling "anti-virus auto-protect" will have the same effect on my loading time, will it anyone?

So you paid to have a virus put onto your machine and you won't remove said virus because you "paid" for it?
Norton Removal Toool. Get it. Use it. Thank me later.
No it was given to me (it was in my first post), I didn't pay for it, it's complicated, but I don't want to use it, but I consciously have to at least each week. I've already uninstalled it before, that's no problem to me.
So, does anyone know if disabling these will help with the loading?
Your best choice is to uninstall it, Norton is just a terrible antivirus overall. It still boggles me about how they fool people that it is a good virus.
I use Avast and Malwarebytes. Best antivirus and malware removal in my opinion.

Malwarebytes antimalware probably your safest bet. Avast is alright too, but imo kinda annoying

I've searched how to shut off Norton, but the only thing I've seen is to turn off "Auto-Protect" and turn off "SONAR Protection", but it seems like it can't be shut off completely. Will doing this help and is there any other methods?
