Champion Build Guide

Hello there! My name is Lao Shin, I'm 19 Years old and I'm a high elo Toplane Main. I've played League of Legends since season 1, and have mained toplane since season 2. My second best role is midlane. Ever since season 3 I've been high Diamond and peaked Challenger multiple season's. League of Legends has always been my main game, the most fun part of the game is never learning out, there is always something new. Since I play i always loved Champions without any resource costs like mana or energy, Tryndamere is one of my soloQ picks because he is much fun, very save and consistently strong in the current meta. |

There are 3 Different kind of build's that are very good right now on Tryndamere. You just have to figure out which of those build's fits your playstyle the best and most importantly, which one is the most fun for you. AD Tryndamere: AD is the most common played Tryndamere and is the most simple one. If you are a beginner with Tryndamere this will most likely how you build him. The Itembuild is very strong for splitpushing and 1v1'ing enemys. You have max CDR so your E cooldown is very Low and you have a good amount of sustain. Korean Tryndamere: This type of build is mainly focused on having a lot of movementspeed. You don't lack damage or anything but you most likely won't take flash. If you aren't used to this it can be a little harsh at the beginning, but learning how to play with this build can really pay off. AP Tryndamere: There are man reasons why he is so strong with AP, mainly because he spikes so hard another huge factor is because even when u build AP your E does AD damage. For the most part it's because he has incredible lane sustain and very low cooldown so you almost have no hard matchups. As soon as u get your 45% cdr powerspike u are unstoppable. You have great moblity with a 4 second spin cooldown and it gets even less with critting the enemy. You can farm evenly fast as with AD tryn but you hit harder have more mobility and a cheaper powerspike. The enemys will underestimate your autoattacks and your pushing power. Also Crit Item's got nerfed and kinda suck now. |
PROS +Early CDR Powerspike +High Sustain +Gank Save +High Carry Potential +Very Mobile +(With AP & Korean) Unexpected and Unknown Playstyle |
CONS -Weak before powerspike -Ultimate Reliant -Squishy -Vulnerable to CC |

Skill Order
With AD & Korean Tryndamere you Obviously want to max your Q, you aren't so reliant on your E and you don't have that low cooldown earlygame. The Q is much more Important with this playstyle. |
You will probably shake your head and wonder, what?! E Max Tryndamere?! Yes you max your E to get less cooldown on it as fast as possible. Also it's your main damage resource so you want it to spike as hard as possible. You put 2 points in Q because you get AD for it and it makes farming under tower easier. Q healing is higher as with AD tryndamere anyway because of all the AP you buy so u won't need to max it early. |
Passiv: Battle Fury
![]() |
Tryndamere gains Fury for each attack, critical strike, and killing blow he makes. Fury passively increases his Critical Strike Chance and can be consumed with his Bloodlust spell. |
Q: Bloodlust
W: Mocking Shout
E: Spinning Slash
R: Undying Rage

Spellbinder is a great item if some champs that spam spells really hard are in the game. It gives a lot of AP and Movementspeed even if u don't use the active so thats great. |

If you want to maximize your damage you can build Rabadon's Deathcap as one of your last items. It gives you a lot of bonus AP, but it also costs a lot of gold and offers no other stats. |

What's Important? Everyone should try to create a own playstyle, enemys won't expect something they have never seen. Try to find what works best for urself. |
Early Game Earlygame lvl1-3 you are very weak except you land some lucky crits. Tryn focuses much on farming in the earlygame because he outscales most of the matchups anyway, don't fight too much except it's a good matchup for you. |
Mid Game This is the time where u already should have bought your first two or three items. Midgame is the best phase for Tryndamere because you can duell everyone. Try to get as many objectives as possible and your team as far ahead as you can. |
Late Game In the lategame you can either group with your team or split push and try to get as much pressure as you can on the map. Always be aware what objective will be contestet next so you are near your team. |

Tryndamere's job in a teamfight is to spin into the enemy backline and try to put as much damage and pressure on the enemy carrys as you can, you wan't them to focus you because you can't die in your ultimate anyway. Since you have very low cooldown on your E they should have no chance to escape you and you can easily shut them down and secure the teamfight for your favor. |

The only real Combo Tryndamere has to offer is the E + Flash Autoattack. It's simple but very effective. |
Shoutout to Foggedftw2 for making this great Combo Video! |

It's a very unusual build and many people will underestimate you and then get punished for it. It's a lot of fun because it's playstyle is something very individual. Also Tryndamere is a very strong pick in the current meta and playing him AP makes him a lot more dangerous cause he has a earlier powerspike cheaper item's and can duell almost everyone. The playstyle is somewhat similar with AD and you also do AD damage. A lot of opponent's won't know that tryn E does AD damage even when it's scaling AP. This will enable you to crush them easily and the magic resistance item's they buy will be worthless. |

If u still have any questions left, feel free to comment, ask me on twitter or on twitch.tv.
