Amumu Q damage decrease, mana cost at all levels 70. | Aiming to put him down a few notches, it's good. Taliyah Q daamage to monsters decreased. | Doesn't effect matchup, going to slower clear and that's it. Jarvan IV passive damage of target's current health decreased. | The 2% decrease will make a difference, even easier for you now.⠀

Spectral Maw having a charge with a slow cast time might make helping your sidelanes difficult. |
Kit Rundown
|
Sovereign's DominationWhenever Viego gets a takedown on enemy champion in the time span of 3 seconds he is able to possess their bodies, gaining all of their abilities and receiving an Heartbreaker Reset. While taking possession, Viego heals himself for a certain % and may last in an enemy body for up to 10 seconds. This passive is what seperates the good Viego players from the bad ones. To play Viego, is to play all of the 150+ League of Legends champions and takes knowledge and mechanical abilities of some level.

Blade of the Ruined King| Range: 600 | Cooldown: 5 / 4.5 / 4 / 3.5 / 3 | Blade of the Ruined King Passive: deals a % of target's current health as damage. Active: Viego thrusts his blade in the target direction, dealing 25 / 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 physical damage to enemies hit and marking them. When Viego attacks a marked target he heals for 150% of damage dealt. This ability right here, is your main sustain. While the ability has one of the lowest base damage stat it makes up for it with having low cooldown and healing letting you sustain yourself through a lot.

⠀Spectral Maw| Range: 500 / 900 | Cooldown: 8 | Viego charges while being slowed by 15% for up to 3 seconds to increase Spectral Maw's mist missile range and stun duration over the first second of the channel. Spectral Maw is your main CC, depending on your charge time you will be able to stun for 0.25−1.25s and mark the enemy. The speed of it is quite slow so you definitely won't always hit so think of it more as a gap closer or auto attack cancel, it also marks the enemy so combining it with your q mark you can heal even better.

⠀Harrowed Path| Range: 400 | Cooldown: 14 / 12 / 10 / 8 / 6 | Viego sends a spectre in the target direction that creates a trail of mist along its path which lasts 8 seconds. The mist spreads around the first instance of terrain encountered. Inside, gains 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% bonus attack speed & 20 / 22.5 / 25 / 27.5 / 30% movement speed. If he is not attacking or casting he becomes camouflaged. This is your main ganking help source that gives you the movement speed to catch up to the enemy laners aswell as your main escaping/juking tool. Since of it's massive size potential it can very much help you in making plays.

⠀Heartbreaker| Range: 500 | Cooldown: 120 / 100 / 80 | Active: Viego discards his current possession if he has one and gains displacement immunity over the cast time, then blinks to the target location. Upon arrival, creates a blast that deals 120% AD physical damage to all nearby enemies, increased by 0−75%, and knocks back all but the enemy with the lowest health dealing 15 / 20 / 25% of target's missing health in bonus physical damage. This ultimate absolutely crushes enemies and by being able to use it up to for 4 times in a team fight makes Viego one of the biggest carries in the game currently.

Clear Pathing
Viego has quite a slow early clear so you're going to need to make it efficent. But keeping in mind the fact you very well cheese
Drakes very early because of your sustain so always keep a
Stealth ward or
Control ward on objectives. Even with the fact that his clear is slow do watch for gankable lanes, enemies overpushing / overextending or fights in the river / around objectives.⠀

I personally very much prefer my pathing which might give you an opportunity to throw a good gank to midlane or a sidelane but if not, you're free to take both Scuttlers which is very beneficial to your whole team and giving you objective vision temporarily.

CONQUEROR ConquerorIt is the perfect keystone rune for Viego for the sole fact that you're able to proc it with AA > Q > AA > W > AA combo making it an extremely free rune to use and giving you a boost to your mid/late game. |
TRIUMPH TriumphVery good rune for sustain, especially good for Viego since his kit is all about sustain. Good for team-fighting, surviving and best choice out of Overheal and Presence of Mind |
LEGEND: ALACRITY Legend: AlacrityBecause of the fact Viego is centered around auto-attacking, Legend: Alacrity is the most efficient rune for him. The attack speed assists your usual Blade of the Ruined King and Kraken Slayer very well. |

COUP DE GRACE Coup de GraceThis rune deals increased damage to lower health enemies, so does your Ultimate Heartbreaker, it boosts your ultimate in damage and even without Heartbreaker it is quite a good rune to run almost every game. |
SUDDEN IMPACT Sudden ImpactSudden impact is your first choice in the Domination Tree for the sole purpose of it procing after you use Spectral Maw, Flash or Heartbreaker giving a good damage boost. |
RAVENOUS HUNTER Ravenous HunterQuite a simple rune, giving more healing. Should be obvious why it chosen over the rest. Healing = Good. |
