ARRRRRRGGGG MATEYS! It's ya boi Tiltplank and I'm here with my official guide on The Reaver King, The Saltwater Scourge, and Bilgewater Buccaneer, known as Gangplank. As everyone knows and fears, Gangplank is a god among men when it comes to dishing out AOE damage, but this guide dives deep into GP, and addresses questions and issues about match-ups, situational builds, play-styles, and more. Spells

Generally, you would only take either exhaust or teleport depending on your lane and the enemy team, but give the recent nerfs to exhaust we'll see what's to come of other spells on gp. But, exhaust will probably still be best in most cases.

Runes

Runes are flexible depending on what play style you'll use throughout the game and what champs you're facing. The general runes setup is:

AD Reds, Armor Yellows, CDR Blues, 1 CDR and 2 AD Quints.

Vs. Tanky team - Lethality Reds, Scaling Health or Armor Yellows, CDR blues, 1 CDR quint, and 2 Lethality Quints.

Vs. Mostly AP - AD Reds, 6 Scaling Health Yellows, 3 MR Yellow, 6 MR Blues, 3 CDR Blues, 1 CDR Quint and 2 AD Quints.

Occasionally I will run this page if i'm up against a champ that does mixed damage with a corki, akali, etc. or if i'm versus an AP laner and an aggressive AD early game jungle like lee sin, shaco, etc.

AD Reds, Armor Yellows, 6 MR Blues, 3 CDR blues, 1 CDR Quint and 2 AD Quints

The reason in these pages i still take the 5% cdr is because I value my Q for early farm way more than 4 more MR and 2 more AD.
