It's almost impossible to duel an Amumu with this setup, since it is geared more towards blowing up squishies. However, it is very easy to invade and counterjungle an Amumu. (Use Fleet build)
Camille
The only time it is difficult for Graves to duel her is when she gets the jump on you, and lands her E to stun. Otherwise, it could be dodged with your E and then proceed to kite.
Ekko
Whoever gets the jump on first will most likely win the duel, decided mostly by whether or not Ekko lands his W to stun you. Since he is AP, your dueling potential is not helped much with your E. However, his early clear is not the best, which means you are capable of invading if your lanes have priority, securing an advantage by counterjungling or killing him in his jungle.
Elise
Very difficult champion to duel, given that she is AP, who Graves already struggles to fight, along with her spiderlings which are capable of blocking Graves' autoattacks. If she finds you and stuns you, you are most likely going to die, with not much room to outplay, unless they are severely behind or you are very ahead.
Evelynn
Another champion who Graves struggles to deal with since she is an AP assassin. However, pre-6, she doesn't pose too much of a threat, winding her down to "major", from "extreme". If you manage to catch her off guard, you will most likely one shot her if she does not ult out in time.
Fiddlesticks
Fiddlestick's clear is very healthy, but is 1v1 potential isn't the highest. His fear will most likely deny any chances of a straight 1v1, so look to invade and wait for him to use his fear on the camp/go out of mana before engaging on. You are capable of one shotting him in the mid game with your core items.
Gragas
Another AP jungler where the 1v1 is most decided by whether or not he gets his E stun off or not. A lot of matchups are decided by who opens up, meaning vision control is key. You can dodge every ability Gragas can throw at you, so be wary of where he is at all times.
Hecarim
Since he is an AD champion, Graves has a decent amount of dueling potential, however, Hecarim is very mobile and is able to stick onto you which makes it relatively hard for you to kite him out. Just remember he does very high consistent damage, whereas you are burst damage oriented, so look for short trades with your abilities before backing off or calling for assistance.
Ivern
The only thing he can do is steal your camps/buffs, but this can easily be prevented by having your team ward or guard your buffs. Overall, he does not pose much of a threat to you in the jungle.
Jarvan IV
His bread and butter combo (E+Q) can be dodged with your E, allowing you to kite him out, or chase him, depending on what he does. His ult also allows your Q to instantly bounce back, almost guaranteeing maximum damage.
Jax
During the early stages of the game, he poses relatively no threat to Graves. You are able to E his stun when he jumps on you, and without his ult he has relatively low dps and tank stats compared to Graves. His clear speed is also not very fast, making it easy to invade and counterjungle.
Karthus
Although he is an AP champ, he has no mobility and is very squishy. During the early stages of the game, it is very easy to kill Karthus, but this matchup really boils down to how well you dodge his Q's.
Kayn
Kayn has two forms- red and blue. Blue is relatively easy to combat due to how squishy he is. However, red Kayn is very difficult to duel as he heals a good amount from his abilities including his R, paired with cc that could be used to stall time until help arrives. All in all, before he transforms, his threat level is very low, however, post 6 and transformation bumps him up to an "even"matchup.
Kha'Zix
I only list him as major due to Kha'Zix's very strong isolated 1v1 damage output. Though you will win if he wastes his jump, if he catches you off guard, you will not have a good time. Post-6 only gets harder as he starts evolving his abilities, so take advantage of his relatively weak early game.
Kindred
Kindred actually doesn't pose much of a threat to Graves, due to how their kits work. Graves is tanky not due to health, but because of armor, which makes it a bit easier to duel Kindred. Graves' clear is also very healthy, making it easier to contest Kindred's marks, where you have higher burst and could potentially even land a kill on her.
Lee Sin
Although Lee Sin is considered a strong early game duelist, once again Graves' kit allows him to duel Lee Sin in a relatively easy manner once his Q has been dodged. Smokescreen allows Graves to negate Lee's dps for a second or two, whilst Graves lands free damage. Do not engage in a 1v1 if not confident in dodging his Q.
Malphite
Luckily this isn't played as much, but he poses quite a bit of threat to Graves in the jungle. There is little to no chance you will kill this champion after he transitions out of the late game, and his Q allows himself to steal movespeed from you which makes it near impossible for you to chase or run away.
Maokai
Most of his damage is magic damage, and he has plenty of cc which makes it really hard for Graves to duel him. However, his clear speed isn't the best, and it is very easy to counter jungle him to set him further and further behind in xp, where eventually you will be able to 1v1 him. Executioner's is a good purchase into him.
Master Yi
Though Master Yi deals physical damage, his E allows him to do true damage and Q allows him to gapclose. Once he hits 6, it is almost impossible to duel him, and even in the early stages, he will most likely channel meditate to negate your burst before re-engaging. However, he is very vulnerable to cc and he could be quite useless in a 2v2 where your team has good cc.
Mordekaiser
His only way of dueling you is landing his E and Qs, which could easily be dodged given Graves' kit. His clear speed is also not the fastest in the early game, and could be taken advantage of. QSS is also a great buy which cancels his ult.
Nautilus
There is pretty much no way you will ever kill this guy if he knows what he's doing. However, his Q could easily be dodged, making it relatively hard for him to duel you. 1v1's between you and Naut won't happen as much, and just focus on counterganking and counterjungling.
Nidalee
A very good nidalee will basically give you no time to breathe as they constantly invade you and look to punish every small mistake you make. However, if the nidalee player isn't very good, her threat level will drop down to "minor." Dodge her spear and do not let her mark you as that is pretty much a guaranteed lost fight.
Nocturne
Nocturne is an ok matchup, given he doesn't really have a consistent gapcloser until level 6, and his Q could be dodged and kited away from to prevent him from fighting with his bonus AD while on his Q trail. However, if he does manage to fear you and proc his lethal tempo, the fight is pretty lost for Graves.
He is just an annoying champion who tries to steal camps away from you and counterjungles. When he does this, you can do the same and just engage in vertical jungling to prevent massive xp loss. His snowball could be dodged, and you have E + R to escape his cc and ult.
Olaf
Very difficult matchup for Graves, but if his axes could all be dodged, it is a very easy matchup. His ult, however, makes it impossible for you to duel him unless you have been kiting him for quite a while or you take him on by surprise.
Pantheon
As an early game jungler, Pantheon holds priority in all 1v1 fights, and you will definitely need assistance to make this fair. However, once you start purchasing items and/or have a lot of stacks on your E, it is possible to engage in a 1v1, but only look for these after he uses some abilities on his camps/other champs.
Poppy
Poppy has an ability which prevents you from using your E and R as an escape tool, additionally grounding you if you do get caught by her W. Stay away from walls, and prevent her from picking up her shield to win the 1v1. However, it is way easier said than done. If you find her in the jungle, she usually already has used both her E and Q on her camp, making it easy for you to engage in a fight.
Rammus
Yea what the **** good luck.
Rek'Sai
Rek'Sai can see champions with her tremors without vision, which make it a bit difficult to catch her off guard. Just don't move when you know she is passing by, and dodge her knockup with your E to win the duel.
Rengar
Though he does have very high burst, Graves' kit negates a good amount of it with his high armor. Additionally if you know he is in a bush, make sure to smokescreen to prevent him from jumping onto you to gain an edge in the 1v1.
Sejuani
She's just very tanky with a lot of cc. It's possible to dodge pretty much every ability of hers with yours, and without her passive tankiness, she is free to take.
Shaco
Pretty much no kill potential for Shaco, since once you get sweeper and a few levels you are just too much for him to take. Don't chase him too far when you know he has his Q since he can bait you into his team. However, in a pure 1v1 environment and jungling scenario, Graves will have the upper hand in almost every situation.
Shyvana
Assuming she goes AP, her damage comes from her E, which could easily be dodged with your E. However, an AD on-hit Shyvana is very difficult to deal with as she will pretty much just run you down.
Sion
Again, he's just a tank with a good amount of cc, but both of his cc abilities could be dodged. Just make sure not to be caught out by him where there is no vision, since you will most likely lose the fight.
Skarner
Assuming you are not fighting in his spire zone, just dodge his E to avoid becoming stunned and run down. Additionally, if he controls the spire around where there in an objective you want to contest or where you want to fight, consider thinking otherwise if you are receiving no help.
Sylas
AP champs, like I have said many times before, is a relatively rough matchup for Graves, with that said, his cc and main damage could be dodged relatively easily, bringing his threat level down to "even" since it ultimately depends on your ability to dodge his damage/cc.
Tahm Kench
One lick and it's over :D
Taliyah
Her bread and butter combo and abilities in general could be dodged with your E, but try not to E over her E as you will take a good chunk of damage.
Trundle
He can create a zone where he is sped up and uber buffed in terms of 1v1 stats, has a terrain blocking ability able to either stop you or at the very least slow you, and has an auto-attack resetting ability which also slows you. Avoid pure 1v1s in the mid game, but the early game is in our favor.
Tryndamere
His early game is quite bad and could be kited easily due to his relatively high cd on his spin. Post 6, it becomes fairly difficult to 1v1 him if you are not able to out-kite him or you are very ahead.
Twitch
When he opens up, just give him the quick one two and slide into him to burst.
Udyr
I would consider this matchup almost impossible if, and only if, the Udyr has something that remotely resembles a brain. He can just waltz into your jungle and you have to watch as he clears your camps. He has high mobility, cc, dps, and tankiness, which just ruins your day. I'd say dodge unless you have a much better comp.
Vi
Dodge Q win fight is pretty much the mantra in this matchup. Especially pre-6 if she takes aftershock, she does not have a keystone if her Q is dodged. Relatively easy matchup pre-6, and becomes slightly more difficult post-6.
Volibear
Tanky champs aren't really something you want to see, especially with a lot of cc and damage output as well. Just make sure to fight him when he has no passive or else you have no chance in a 1v1 vacuum.
Warwick
Abuse vision to not allow warwick to get his fear off by latching onto you with his Q. If this is dodged, you have a good chance of winning the duel by proceeding to kite him. Post-6, the probability of winning increases furthermore if both fear and ults are dodged, since your ult could be used to gapclose, kite, and just overall increase your dps.
Wukong
Sure he's known for burst damage, but that's what Graves likes to see from an AD champ, by surviving that one rotation from Wukong, Graves can just kite him out and kill him.
Xin Zhao
Bit difficult for Graves to duel a Xin throughout the early game in a 1v1, since he can dash onto you, which slows you, then proceed to knock you up before landing a guaranteed W for maximum dps. However, you can try meeting him in the jungle after he has used his rotation on camps, which is pretty much the only way you can apply pressure in the early game as Graves onto Xin.
Zac
You can just dodge his E and Q, which pretty much negates all 1v1 potential from Zac. Even if he catches you off guard, you see where he will land with his E, making it possible to dodge and re-engage. 2v2s are much harder against this champion, but 1v1s are in our favor.

Hi all, I'm Prototype Shu, and recently I've been having a lot of success playing Graves in the jungle. Contrary to popular belief that ever since the jungle xp has been nerfed, Graves hasn't been the same, he still has the potential to 1v9 games or downright remove the enemy jungler from the game.
This works in "higher" elo, since I have been testing this setup on a smurf of mine. Also feel free to add me! We can duo on smurf :)
