Hello guys, my name is Hooeeyy and this is my first guide so bear with me. I have been using this AD JG Rammus build in my games and it's working so far. It may look like a dumb build to many of you but I swear there is potential with this new play style of Rammus; hell maybe people will start playing Mr. Hedgehog again. I am currently Platinum and I got to Diamond at one point but I lost a lot and decayed before season 4 ended. I've been playing league for 5-6 years so far so I dare to say I have some knowledge to this "nonsense" of a guide.

Riot should make a Sonic skin for Rammus.

The routine depends on which side you are on. For blue side I like to start krugs/golems then raptors to wait for the smite CD and finish off red with smite. I'm only doing this because after those three camps you can buy your devourers with a pot and TP back quickly to do the other three camps: wolves, blue, gromps.

You're level 4 after this and you have your taunt start ganking lanes.

For purple/red side(colorblind mode looks better), start the gromp then wolves and blue. Recall, buy JG item and TP back and do the other three camps. Raptors, red then krugs/golems.

Gank foo.


The goal is to get your Sated Devourers ASAP, the magic damage for auto attacks is HUGE. And since you bought the Skirmish's Sabre, your smite will allow your auto attacks to deal true damage + the magic damage from Sated Devourers. With all that damage and attack speed you're going to win any 1v1 and be able to peel for your team if they lack that damage if they do fall behind.


PLEASE READ:
Since we're getting Devourer's, it is crucial that you pay attention to your camps, scuttlers, and dragon. Obviously when you can since ganking is important. This allows you to maximize the rate of you getting Sated as fast as possible. Ganking and getting kills also gives you stacks on your Devourer's so you won't be at total loss for not doing camps as soon as they respawn.
You want your team to do well so you can do well.

This should be fairy simple, let your teammates know that you're going to gank with or without TP so that they will be ready as soon as you come in. This will allow preparedness so that the ganks come off clean and you can minimize potential losses.

Ram into the enemy and taunt
Step 3:
Press your W...you always gotta wait for your W dude.
Step 4:
Ult and auto attack.
Step 5:
Let your inner keyboard warrior emerge and mash the ---- out of your keyboard to activate your smite, Blade of the Ruined King and Youmuu's Ghostblade.



Notes:
Don't try to fight without your W, the armor and magic resistance helps you take less damage, and it also gives you a huge damage boost.

Ayy but you good though?

Your ult gives you a nice solid damage boost when you're dealing with enemies up close so it's important to get in your target's faces.

Leave Q at level 1 and max it last, you only use it for disrupting the jungle's attack and then turning on your W to increase efficiency. It's also only used for mobility; running away, ganking, ganking with homeguard and teleport. GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GOTTA GO FAST! GOTTA GO FAST! GOTTA GO FASTER FASTER FASTER FASTER FASTER.

Pros:
1. You can 1v1 anyone even more now because your damage is insanely OP.
2. Fast and mobile.
3. JG Clear times become faster as you get your attack speed items.
4. You can destroy anyone no matter how tanky they are.
5. Fun.

Cons:
1. This build is specifically hard against CC heavy compositions and this probably goes for almost every champion out there but especially with this Rammus build.
2. If you get denied early in jungle it's hard to catch up.
3. Kited somewhat easily, besides you teleporting with homeguard.
4. Squishy.
5. Team fighting late game, you can get easily picked off if you're the one initiating.

I gave many examples and probably too many examples of which champions Rammus is strong and weak against. But the reason I did that and mainly ADC's is because your goal is to aim and focus high priority targets so I gave a bit more insight against ADC's than other roles. However, I did give some general examples of AD Tank bruisers like Garen that Rammus has less difficulty with and bruisers like Jax that you'll have a harder time with. There are some middle champions that are extremely hard to go against like Veigar and Le Blanc and easier champions like Orianna. AD assassins don't really do well against Rammus and champions like Yi and Tryndamere will have the worst chances. These examples do extend to other champions but I picked mainly these bruisers, junglers, and middle laners because Rammus generally has a better chance or worst chance within the given examples and the champions alike.

Avoid heavy CC and avoid getting targeted first/initiating because you'll get instantly denied as you try to taunt one of their teammates and the rest of them will jump on you. Single and prioritize targets out and that should make the rest of your team ease with the team fights.

This Rammus build puts him as an Assassin role of singling out high danger targets and taking them down. No one expects this little guinea pig to attack hella fast and destroy you completely in a 1v1. I believe Rammus's kit allows him to perform this role fairly well but there are major improvements to building rammus like this. Like building some tanky items because in higher ranked games you're going to get one shotted before you can approach the enemy team. For starters this is a "yolo" build that offers a different play style for Rammus since his typical tank build is out meta'd if you will and he is just not a great jungler compared to other more solid junglers.


I will still be editing this guide as it is my first guide so I would want to polish it as much as possible. I finished the basics of this guide just to introduce a different play style of Rammus and of course there will be further changes. I will post screenshots of my history as I have been playing him more but not enough to show a full history of Rammus games. I will also start playing him in ranked games in the middle plat elo.
