Skill Matchup
She is very squishy so you shouldn't have trouble dealing with her at least pre-6, You can sit away from your minion wave but still behind them parallel to her so that you don't get charmed and if she uses Q on you, she sacrifices wave clear.
After 6 is where the skill matchup really starts since she can predict your Ult so i suggest you try to stun her with Q rather just watch for the charm.
Akali
Easy lane until 6 where it only gets slightly harder.
You poke her out with Q and speed away with E if she shrouds.
She pokes her head out even once out of the shroud in duels, you can Q/Ult and she's screwed.
Anivia
Easy to dodge abilities, easy lane.
Just don't forget about her passive and don't get caged in.
Aurelion Sol
If you dodge his Q, you're good and he can't do anything else against you since his stars go away momentarily when you stun him.
He'll try to roam since he can't beat you so follow him or shove wave and make sure your lanes know he's roaming.
Azir
Low Extreme
Outranges you so he's gonna bully you a lot but he doesn't take hits that well himself so try to trade with him if you see him throw out both his soldiers in a bad place with Q down, ganks would be appreciated in this lane and ignite would be the best option.
Brand
Low Major
He outranges you and out-trades you as long as he hits all abilities.
You can't exactly win this lane alone unless you're just better, you'll have to ask jungler to help you get ahead and you can win.
Cassiopeia
Easy match up until she gets a tear, She'll be able to win any trade you take with her most of the time and doesn't let you run around with your E so don't go Phase Rush build against her.
Basically just try to not let her get ahead.
Cho'Gath
Annoying especially if they're running Glacial
Knock up, silence, slows for days, true damage, health stacking, he's just not fun to play against.
You'll need to dodge his Q to survive and you should be good, probably get MR boots early to reduce his slows.
When his Q is down, you can carefree poke him down with yours until he gets his Q back then be wary again.
Corki
Low Even
He is for sure annoying but your trades are better so try to poke him down often and beware of him coming out of nowhere with his package and watch for his roams.
Diana
Low Even
You out poke her and can disengage if she gets too uncomfortably close, make sure to track her and follow her roams.
Ekko
He's a melee mid laner with no early kill pressure so you can just poke him down until he cries and spams /ff
But keep in mind to track his strong ganks, there's a reason this annoying time breaking kid is good in the jungle.
Evelynn
Evelynn has become a decent midlaner now due to the Q cooldown buff but you can still beat her easily by poking her down a lot since you also outburst her without her W
Just be very careful of her roams
Ezreal
Very Squishy so you can easily poke him down from behind minions where he can't poke you with Q, If you can kill him and stun him, walk up closer with E so he can't escape with E so easily.
Fiddlesticks
Low Even
Poke him down, he can't do much about it.
When he walks up to wave clear and heal with W, makes sure to have your stun up.
If he's going tank, make sure to not take longer trades with him than just your burst
If he's going ap, he's trolling.
Fizz
Very strongly in Fizz's favor.
He has an E to dodge your burst combo and then deliver his own truck load of damage, If you want to trade you'll have to bait out the E or tank it to do anything.
When he reaches Level 6, He can pretty much force a flash from you whenever he wants or a kill unless you can dodge it with E.
I highly suggest you just let the lane play out and get Stopwatch at Level 6.
Galio

You like ones that one shot you even in mid game while building tank?
Yeah, Galio is one of those
You have no chance of killing him in lane usually so your best choice is to roam and hope he doesn't follow so try to vision deny with sweeper and control wards.
Gangplank
Your autos aren't the fastest thing in the world so make sure to get used to them to time the barrel kills properly
Stay back when your Q and W are down so he doesn't get a free Parrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrley since it IS a gun so it will hurt especially when he gets the blue glowy sword Sheen.
Save your E for if he gets a barrel off or ults you.
Gragas
Getting anti heal against Big Chungus would be good since he can fairly well tank your poke with Doran's Shield and his passive.
Do not let him get his E off when you're out of the minion wave and watch for the ult, don't get pushy.
He might look jolly and all but he'll drink you under the table if you're not careful.
Heimerdinger
He takes a big bulky stance in mid lane trying to take it over but your AA AA Q kills the turrets so you should be able to win this fairly easily with poke
When he gets 6 and puts down a big turret, just back off with E.
Irelia

Don't let her get ahead due to jungle camping you or she'll literally 1v5 the game.
You can otherwise poke her down easily in lane as long as you dodge the E.

He can't out poke you as long as you stay far enough behind minions, run away with E whenever he pulls out his mallet, he's no Eustace Bagge.

Kai'sa doesn't really fair well against your poke with her AA Q poke since the missiles spread all over so just poke her a lot and don't get hit by W and you should win.

If she's AP, you should win by sheer poke power and burst since she's not that tanky but if she's going tank then she's even with you because she still has a lot of damage and heals a lot so get healing reduction early or ignite.

As long as you sit in minion waves, you out poke him out but when you step out of the minion wave he will W and it'll get hard to dodge his Q so, you know, don't.
Kassadin

You can harass him a lot pre-6 but after that he can teleport on you and he hurts.
Pre-6 you should wait for him to throw out Q and wait out the shield, when he tries to back off after it runs out E after him to trade back with Q W.
Post-6 I suggest you get some MR.
Katarina
Skill Matchup
You can poke her down easily and not have to worry till Level 3 where she can equally trade with you if not better.
At 6, You really need your stun for her ult or you're in trouble so keep it up instead of using Q to cs if you feel she wants to go in.
Just don't play too aggresive.

She can't really do anything to you till her first ascension
After that, she'll chase you down and poke you back with Q, a few autos and E unless you stun her.
Keep in mind to abuse her since her W takes a lot of mana, she can't keep up with the mana usage compared to you.

Don't let him run up to you with E and try to stay behind minions, You win in terms of poke since his Q doesn't go through minions but if you let him get to you, he'll sting a lot and might even one shot you at 6.
LeBlanc
Do NOT let her roam, if you do try to track her since she has strong roams.
In lane, if she goes in for a trade you can E to soften the blow and stun her when she jumps in so that she can't jump out before your damage.
Just try to get her to engage before doing Q so you can deny more damage with her having to Q E after your stun.

You can't really do much but make her back or play under tower by out poking her.
She doesn't exactly win against you but you don't win against her so just try to win in CS.

Problem for him is he's a squishy one so you should win this one as long as you don't let him gun you down with his ultimate.
Make sure not to ult to stun him in case he predicts it with E.

She's squishy but She can definitely tank your poke with her E and she'll probably get some mana first item so you'll most likely need to commit to longer trades or just farm it out while making sure that she somehow doesn't get ahead enough to super power her ADC, i'm not really experienced enough with the match up to say much more than ask for ganks if need be to not let her get items.

With his passive shield and Doran's shield, he can tank your poke pretty well while throwing that cheese wheel at you for basically the same damage as your Q

You need to try your best to match his roams or mirror roaming.

You can not leave him alone in lane unless you wanna lose your tower at 10 minutes with you losing a lot of CS so i suggest you take TP.
He has the spellshield so you can't do that much alone without getting the short end of the stick.

You outrange him and you can kite him in death realm so he can't exactly take you down alone, his only hope is to roam.
Morgana
Good damage and sustain but she can't really do her good damage without you being out of the minion wave, as long as she has Black Shield up you can't trade with her but if you bait it out, you can hit her hard because of her squishiness.

You have better burst
Dodge the root and win the trade but even if you don't dodge it, E can tank it pretty nicely.
Make sure to stun her with Q if her W is up so that you can tell which is which instead of stunning both with R/W

Bait out the spell shield or just hit him with an ability that's not a stun then the stun and you can easily harass him
Only problem you'll have is after 6 where you'll NEED Zhonya since his 6 is so good, just keep in mind to ping when he gets him and T R A C K him or he'll get fed.

You shouldn't try poking him down cause he'll just heal it back up with Q so this is pretty much a farm or match his roams game
After 6, You can stun him with Da Bear and block snowball with him too.

If she throws her ball at you, Immediately go for a trade because her defensive stats are down due to the ball being off her and keep in mind to be careful if you can't retaliate because she outranges you

Tanks in mid are fun so don't try to fight him
Just poke him out if possible until he gets MR
then just focus on farm and nothing else other than matching his roams or roaming yourself.

You can poke him down as long as you be careful of his all in Level 3
He can survive your burst with his E
He might also counter your ganks with ult so try to make sure when you roam, he can't respond in time due to lack of vision and short roams.

Problem is his roams at 6 are super strong and you make one slip up and he's back in the game with extra gold

His trading is annoying due to not caring if you're in a wave or not, you can out burst him but still try to dodge the Q and care for his roams at 6
Senna
Senna mid isn't common but i myself love doing it and it is pretty scary since she has range over you, cc, healing and a shield.
She outpokes and outranges you AND can negate your burst so you'll need your jungle because she is really screwed if she gets ganked in a bad spot.
If you can't get a gank, just don't let her get ahead.

He'll build tanky and he'll be tanky
It's a boring and annoying lane but as long as you can dodge his E, you should win trades with your better burst.

He can dodge your ult with his E and W after your burst to heal some back so get some anti heal or adapt to him by seeing if he does it in a burst combo, if he does you can wait for it and then retaliate.
Him stealing your ult isn't THAT good for him but of course better than nothing
Just try to poke him and stay behind minions parallel to him.

Definition of not fun.
Due to her range, She forces you to build a campfire and have a tea party under your tower yet she still gets to poke at you, this doesn't let you roam which is a big part of Annie's strength.
If you're struggling, go for a Banshee's and beg for ganks since she's immobile and can't really do much about it other than E and run.

Due to your E, it's hard to catch you with Taliyah W so you should be able to outburst her always.
Your E pretty much messes up her entire kit with Q and W

You do not want to be caught without your stun while against her, she out ranges you a little so be wary of that.
Try to poke her with stun and run away with E right after otherwise she'll retaliate with a painful pain train.

The Yu-Gi-Oh supremacist in a school full of Pokemon card traders is definitely not a whimp anymore.
He has a lot of hurt behind that Blue Eyes White Dragon Blue card now along with giving him mana so just try to wait for him to waste W since you outspeed him then try to poke him when it's down
Make sure to warn your team when he's level 6.

If you can bully him out of farming, you already won.
If you can't, you can usually outburst and outpoke him anyways before mid game so he'll be behind for sure

He outranges you and hurts like hell with his passive but he is fairly easy to dodge, After 6 he has the annoying Q then R to slow you so that the Q lands so be wary of it.

Skill Matchup
He is a lane bully but that doesn't mean he can't be bullied himself, he'll try to run up Q AA E to poke so you can retaliate with your burst when the shield goes down, you should out poke him early.
Though he is a high skillcap champion so try to analyze your opponent and see how they play.
Vladimir
Annoying lane but you'll be fine as long as you get early MR Pen due to him probably getting Spirit Visage first item
Bait out the W by tempting him with an engage and then you can outburst him as long as he doesn't have powered up Q
Xerath
He outranges you and pokes a lot, I suggest you take E earlier than level 4 to have a chance to dodge his poke.
Once his E is down and your's is up, you should be able to get a decent trade or without his flash even maybe get a kill with ignite.
Yasuo
Be sure to stun with W or R so he can't windwall your stun
You can easily dodge nado with E
There isn't really a way you can lose the lane unless you screw up.

Yone has a good engage unless the opponent has a stun, which you do so he'll have to be tricky or bait you out
If you don't fall for the bait, he can't really do anything unless he busts out a ult out of nowhere, if you can't dodge it then you'll be in trouble.

I've played since Season 3 while playing Annie quite a bit here and there and I'm here to give insight to people who are less experienced with Annie.

Playing as Annie
Starting lane as Annie
You usually want to last hit minions with your Q to get some CD back and Mana as it is your cs tool since your basic attacks are slow, you may sometimes need to hold your passive for certain situations like a gank or a Zed engage but don't be worried to waste your stun on last hitting cs since you can very well build it back up again but holding onto it can be a good thing to pressure the opponent or just to step up and poke em hard.
Getting more into the game
You wanna look to help your jungler if need be because of how much you hurt you'll usually win the 2v2 you might have to get into with your jungler for scuttle or something. You should also look to roam as you have very good burst and a stun on it as well so it's usually a guaranteed kill on an immobile adc for an example as long as you get a follow up, if your support can clear the bot side river bush it's very good to ambush from especially since you'll be going Hexflash so you can just jump over it and surprise the enemy bot lane.
Going for Objectives
You don't contribute that much DPS to the Dragon/Baron so try to zone the enemy out (Preferably the jungler) with your threat of one shotting them, even if they're not scared enough of you, you can try to burst and distract them to stop em from getting to the objective
Late Game Teamfights
You'll want to try and focus on popping their carry out of nowhere so they can't do anything about it usually being their ADC or mid laner or if you're playing more on the back then try to cover for your ADC instead so that they don't get destroyed before even getting to do anything since you have instant cc, it's very helpful.
