Item Explanation
Dead Man's Plate as Bard's first item is ideal.
+300 Health
+45 Armor
+5% Movement Speed
Combined with the passive movement speed and target slow, I usually purchase this item first.
Instead of a typical mythic item build, I go into Force of Nature as the 2nd item.
+350 Health
+70 Magic Resistance
+5% Movement Speed
This is one of the best Magic Resistance items in the game. With the bonus move speed of this item combined with Dead Man's Plate, it's the next best item to build on Bard.
Locket of the Iron Solari
+20 Ability Haste
+200 Health
+30 Armor
+30 Magic Resistance
Overall great Mythic Item on Bard. Has 4/5 of the stats Bard needs. (Just missing movement speed)
In a standard game, after these items you will need to consider what legendary items would suit the matchups. If the other team's midlaner mage is fed, you should look into building items that provide resistance to that type of damage.
If you are lacking in attack damage on your team that is made up of mostly AP champions, you can build into Rapid Fire Cannon to provide extra damage.
