Introduction

Hello, I am Riceyboll a retiring top OTP looking to expand my champion pool into four champions to main and climb the ranked ladder with and fit perfectly into what I look in a champion that I want to play. The fun gameplay, interesting lore and good looking champion desing.

Explaining the items

Riftmaker

Riftmaker is the default mythic item for . It gives her amazing stats and the bonus true damage allows her to melt tanks even faster.

Guinsoo's Rageblade

might seem like a troll item at first, but it's actually really good for her and allows to not be reliant on her Q ability for damage.

Rod of Ages

is an item that gets really strong only after the stacks, meaning that it's really good in lategame where you'll have alot of stats from it and your other items.

Jak'sho, the protean

is for going tanky allowing you to be well... tanky and in longer fights you get alot of resistances. Useful if your team doesn't have a frontliner.

Nashor's Tooth

is the item you need to rush building first. It gives a juicy amount of AP, attack speed and some on-hit damage

Shadowflame

is a good item to get through magic resist allowing you to destroy your enemies faster!

Rabadon's Deathcap

is a super strong item that gives you alot of AP. Nothing much I can say about it.

Demonic Embrace

is a good item if you need to be a bit more beefy. Also good if you're going to build tank ingeneral since you get AP, HP and other nice bonuses.

Cosmic Drive

is an item that you'll most likely be building in every match. It gives alot of mobility which benefits from alot.

Lich Bane

is a good way for to get more damage on his autoattacks and he get's access to which is great

Void Staff

gives alot of damage and it also gives which is really great

Abyssal Mask

is a tank item which burns enemies magic resist and gives her good stats that allow her to tank damage.

Morellonomicon

is a good way for to get some antiheal on her build, also it gives some magic penetration which is, like I said at Void Staff is great.

Zhonya's Hourglass

is a good item thath allows to stay alive longer and tower dive enemies. Also the stats ain't that bad

Thornmail

is an antiheal item, but a tankier version of that. Also it makes the enmies take damage if they autoattack you.

Sunfire Aegis

is a tank item that also gives some damage.

Abilities

Passive: Thousand Cuts

Gwen's attacks deal an additional 1% of the target's max health as magic damage on-hit. Gwen recovers 50% of the damage dealt to enemy champions.

Q Ability: Snip Snip!

Q Passive:
Gwen gains 1 stack when she hits an enemy with an attack (max 4)

When activated will consume all of the stacks she has made and will snip her scissors once and after that she will snip her scissors again for x amount of stacks she had before using her Q. You can also use Gwen's E after using her Q so you can switch your position.

W Ability: Hallowed Mist

When activated will create a circle of hallowed mist and she will be untargetable by enemy attacks unless they are also in the circle. She will also gain armor and magic resist.

E Ability: Skip 'n Slash

When activated will dash to the direction of her mouse and after a dash Gwen's attacks become empowered

Ultimate Ability: Needlework

This ability has 3 casts that are almost identical except that each cast will become bigger and deal more damage.

When activated will throw needles towards her mouse and each cast will deal more damage than the last and each one also slows the enemies.

Runes

This is the default rune page for with and usually being the best rune paths to go for, but also abd are decent

Precision

Conqueror is the main keystone for Gwen allowing her to deal and heal good amounts of damage quite easily. Conqueror is good for both AP and tank build for Gwen

Lethal Tempo is for more of autoattack focused builds meaning that items like and are really good.

Presence of Mind allows to make mana while in lane so sh doesn't need to recall because of that.

Legend: Alacrity gives Gwen some attack speed from which she greatly benefits from

Legend: Tenacity allows Gwen to be affected by CC less which enables her to go for kill without spending half an hour in constant CC againts champions, like

Last Stand is the best choice from the last row allowing you to deal more damage and make clutch moves even when you're low HP

Resolve

Second Wind is good againts lane with constant poke allowing you to heal from it and since most likely if you're going againts poke lanes you'll take healing you even more

Bone Plating allows you to go for trades without losing much HP since this rune will block it allowing you to deal damage and slip away without taking much yourself

Unflinching is like Legend: Tenacity, but it also gives more slow resist which is really nice

Sorcery

Transcendence gives Gwen alot of useful ability haste and when Gwen becomes level 11 every champion takedown the CD of her non ultimate abilities get reduced by 20%

Gathering Storm gives Gwen AP depending on how long the game has gone on for allowing her to become an even bigger lategame menace destroying everyone and everything in her path to victory!

Gameplan

Earlygame

Earlygame is where Gwen as a lanebully should fulfill that role so try to poke with full stacks of her Q.
Try playing aggressively if playing againts melee champions and remember to try to hit the sweet spot of your Q.
Againts range you'd want to focus more on farming and poking only when you 1. can catch them and 2. they won't outdamage you.

Other than that rjust remember to farm and keep the pressure up!

Mid & lategame

After early game has a couple of options on what to do. Splitpushing is a good way to force enemies to defend wherever you are or they'll lose towers and thatway lose the entire game faster.

Another thing to do is focusing on objectives and helping your team get a lead by getting said objectives or kills.

And if you fed you should focus on farming more and catch up that way.

Conclusion

All and all has really fun gameplay and being able to melt tanks is really satisfying. Her skillseiling is fairly high and she might be abit hard to learn, but once you push through that phase you will start melting your enemies like butter.
also has many builds and a ton of viable items for you to pick and choose from.
