Welcome everyone to my guide! This guide should teach you in my opinion the best way to play Caitlyn in URF. I have played quite a lot of games with her and analysed all different possible item/rune options until I came up with this final result that should be, in my opinion, the best build available in terms of winning games (and fun of course). Caitlyn in URF is a very powerful champion that can gather insane gold lead super easily while killing enemies from insane range advantage. She can quickly last hit minions and push the lane forward while one shotting enemies with Ace in the Hole. She is relatively easy to play though a lot of skill expressive tricks can be done with her. This guide is mostly just my opinion. Even though I have found quite a lot of success with this setup specifically, you might suck horribly with it. So make sure you adjust this build to fully suit your playstyle instead of just blindly copy-pasting it. We all play differently after all.

PROS + Super High Range + Insane Damage + Snowballs Hard Caitlyn's kit allows her to poke her enemies from absolutely absurd range. Her Piltover Peacemaker allows her to easily push lanes forward and collect a lot of gold from turret plates. Her Yordle Snap Trap then allows her to basically deny the target from protecting his tower and her 90 Caliber Net to easily escape possible threats. Caitlyn's mid game is absolutely insane and thanks to Gathering Storm and Dark Harvest your late game is nuts as well.

CONS - R Is Easy To Counter - Very Squishy - Probably Nerfed Soon :( Caitlyn's ultimate ability Ace in the Hole is super easy to counter. Any Eye of the Storm, Playful / Trickster, Sanguine Pool, Zhonya's Hourglass, Barrier or many more abilities, items and runes can render your ultimate almost absolutely useless. Caitlyn is also very very squishy. Any combo or ability rotation can kill her in a blink of an eye making you vulnerable throughout all stages of the game. Make sure you are always in safety so you won't get eviscirated.

DARK HARVEST Dark Harvest is the best available keystone rune for quick annihilations with Ace in the Hole. It deals tons of damage and works wonderfully with your playstyle as well. You can choose Hail of Blades instead If you want more close range DPS rather then long range execute.

ABSOLUTE FOCUS Absolute Focus is a pretty alright filler rune in Sorcery tree. Outside of Gathering Storm it provides most of the raw AD making it good with Infinity Edges. Also since you almost always cast Ace in the Hole, from safety, that ability will be almost always empowered by Absolute Focus!

CHEAP SHOT Cheap Shot is a super useful trading rune. Every time a champion gets hit by Yordle Snap Trap or 90 Caliber Net, your next attack will deal bonus true damage to that target and now since you have Headshot, you will also gain an insane range which is just pure stonks.

GATHERING STORM Gathering Storm is a main reason why to go for Sorcery secondary. Since numbers for this rune are different in URF, you will be getting absurd loads of raw AD every 6 minutes!! Even though URF games don't take very long, you will still level this rune like 4-7 times per game!

EYEBALL COLLECTION Eyeball Collection isn't a bonkers rune by any means but it gets the job done pretty well. More AD is after all more AD and in case of Eyeball Collection, it is a lot of more AD. Just make sure you roam around the map a bit so you get those unique kills as fast as possible.

RAVENOUS HUNTER Ravenous Hunter is a pretty average rune in URF but it's better then nothing after all. It encourages you to roam around the map more to collect all the stacks and it works pretty well with Ace in the Hole, allowing you to heal yourself every couple of seconds from the safety.

FLASH Flash is a standard emergency summoner spell that allows you to escape from sticky situations, chase down kills or dodge important skillshots. It is also good for animation canceling of your other abilities.

BARRIER Barrier is a pretty solid defensive summoner spells that allows you to survive some damage so you won't die that easily. You can cast it during Ace in the Hole and it should be able to save your life couple of times.

> > > Ace in the Hole is your ultimate ability so it makes sense that you want to level it up every time you possibly can. Second highest priority goes to Piltover Peacemaker. This ability is Caitlyn's bread and butter. It's her main source of damage so max it second. Then focus on Yordle Snap Trap because maxing it is generally more worth then maxing 90 Caliber Net. Last but not least max out 90 Caliber Net as that ability gets the least value by being maxed out.

This build focuses at the ultimate power of 4x Infinity Edge strategy. This strategy is really strong because of the way URF works. Since there is a 80% world-wide CDR and all abilities can be repeated very often, you will find much more value from stats that improve your abilities, and since all 4 abilities in Caitlyn's kit have AD scaling, there is no reason why to waste your money on attack speed items like Runaan's Hurricane or Phantom Dancer. Also in URF the gold you get from turret plates is enhanced + there is higher passive gold generation, meaning that you should be able to afford more expensive items and finish them relatively early. For all those reasons, stacking Infinity Edge is super strong strategy that is currently abused by many AD champions in URF. For other items, we have Bloodthirster that provides us with the highest possible AD stat in the game as well as some more sustain. Death's Dance is good for preventing enemies from 100>0 you in a blink of an eye. The bonus alive time you get from this item should be enough to perhaps save your life. This is the most effective I have came up with so far and should be VERY competetive. DPS SPLASH This build focuses a little bit more on the DPS side of Caitlyn's playstyle. Ultimately speaking it is generally a tiny bit worse then the main 4x IE build, but there are still plenty of situations where it can shine. Stormrazor + Rapid Firecannon is a huge item combo that allows you to heavy hit and slow enemies from far away, allowing you to easily follow up with Piltover Peacemaker for bonus damage or just run away to survive. Keep in mind that this build will greatly reduce Caitlyn's damage output from Piltover Peacemaker and Ace in the Hole so don't rely on those abilities very much.

During the very early game you want to get to your lane as soon as possible. Make sure you buy your items instantly and be the first one who gets fired from the cannon. Try to get to your lane before your opponent does and put yourself in safe position (AKA not 2 mm from enemy turret range). When you will see your opponent using cannon after you, it should be pretty easy to throw free Piltover Peacemaker for some extra damage to start with.

When minion waves come close to each other, start pushing. Throw everything you can to push the wave into enemy turret as fast as possible. With Piltover Peacemaker, this should be an easy task. Don't forget to collect as much CS as you can though, ignoring too much CS gold can put you slightly behind. When your minion wave gets to enemy turret, make sure you collect the first plate, which is worth of absolutely insane 300 gold.

Try to get level 2 before your opponent does to collect some early Dark Harvest stacks or maybe even early kills. Spam E + Q + AA combo anytime you possibly can. Enemies usually don't respect the damage it can pull off well enough and thus they die quite regularly to it. When you get to level 3 and you learn yourself Yordle Snap Trap, try to spread them at lucrative places around enemy's turret to limit your opponent's ways to deny your gold lead.

When you successfuly push the lane or collect a kill you have an action window for recalling. Quickly buy whatever you need and get back to lane so you won't lose any minion wave gold. Pay attention where you plan on landing with URF cannon as it can cost you your life and gold bounty. Continue fast pushing until the whole lane gets absolutely demolished.
