Let's get into it.

Qiyana has one of the highest skill ceiling in the entire game.

She is full of mechanics.

You can create space & outplay people like no one else.

If you are a mechanical player, this champion is for YOU.

Qiyana has a lot of combos.
Reality is, it depends on the situation, but here's the one you NEED to know.

QWEQ:

This is the fastest oneshot combo with Qiyana.



QWQPA:

This combo is good ESPECIALLY when you are close range and want a fast one shot.
PRO TIP: You can also dodge certain abilities if you time perfectly your Grass Q.




QWERAQ

You don't always want to use your E first because you might want to dodge a spell first.

This is the perfect example:



EWPQWQ
This combo is one of the best teamfight combo because you can surprise the enemy with a burst of damage and slip through like water.



EFRQWQ:

This is the classic Qiyana Teamfight Combo.
You NEED to learn this combo to be able to 1v5 EVERY SINGLE GAME.



EQWPRAQ:

This is a combo that is really niche, but if you can use it at a proper timing, it's deadly.


Using W to flank combo

It's important to learn how to W through walls to surprise the enmies with good flanks.



Brush is what makes Qiyana able to 1v5.

Always use Brush to create space and visualize the play before you make it.

Perfect example:

There's a lot of miss-conceptions about Qiyana.

For example, a lot of people take , but it's only good if you are below Platinium ELo since the enemy laners don't respect your spacing.

I suggest taking if you are diamond and above.

: This is the worst mythic in the entire game. NEVER BUILD THIS ON QIYANA.

: This item is so bad, I can't believe it got nerfed instead of buffed 😂💀

: Used to be really bad, but due to Durability Patch and recent meta, it has been a lot better and more reliable (and better scaling than Electrocute)

: This item is really underated as it's been buffed a lot now.

Trash

Best armor penetration item, build it every game.

Item is not the best fit in meta right now, especially after item update.

Electrocute used to be Qiyana's best rune, but because of the current meta, it's not good anymore.

Recommended if you are Diamond and above on Qiyana.

= It procs on every and so it's one of the best rune for .

= Qiyana abilities scale off Bonus AD so this rune is really insane and you should not take anything else.

+ = This is preference. I think is better overall. But some people prefer .
= This rune is better than because you won't run out of mana if you play properly, and you don't need to build Tear.

+ = If you watch my Twitch or YouTube, you know that I suggest taking over every game now, especially since HP nerf early.

NPC rune, if you are hungover and want to play Qiyana, you can go for this.

This rune is really good and helps you scale harder because these boots give more mouvement speed than normal T1 boots.

Cookies Cookies gives 3 AD on Muramana passive, but also helps if you have a hard laning phase.

This rune is needed on Qiyana jungle, but sadly it's not really playable in this current meta.

Really good rune, helps with Summoner's CD.

This rune is needed vs heavy poke like Leblanc, Ryze, Syndra, etc.. Combined with Doran Shield, it lets you get a lot of CS without dying and scaling good into mid/late game.

Makes you more tanky because of the HP and syncronises well with the HP provides.

Youmuu's Ghostblade Best Mythic on Qiyana, MS makes combos smoother/faster. Eclipse Eclipse is not comparable to Youmuu's Ghostblade. Never build it unless there's 5 tanks on enemy team (which never happens)

Treasure + Better Snowball + Better Laning Phase + Stronger dueling

Relentless + Roam around the map faster + Easier to chase + Enemies don't except your fast arrival

Ahri Play Video You lose trades if she hits her charm. Use ice to all in

Akali Play Video Play around her shroud cooldown, bait it out by engaging with brush and back off. If Akali ever uses E2 on you, stand close to a wall and ult her.

Akshan Play Video Akshan E does a stupid amount of damage, use brush q to dodge it. dont let him proc his shield passive.

Anivia Play Video You dont have the damage to kill her by yourself early game. If you get her in to egg form its best to back off since you likely will be tanking minions while hitting her.

AnnieEngage after she uses her stun. She can 100-0 you at lvl 6 with ignite so only go on her if you can 1shot her.

Aurelion SolEngage on him when he uses his stun. He will push you in and roam so spamping your teammates.

Azir Play Video Play with brush to avoid poke. Nobody plays Azir so im not sure how to win the matchup.

BrandBrand base dmg is stupid high so if he hits everything you are dead. engage if he misses a spell. At lvl 6 he can 100-0 you even if he doesnt hit everything.

Cassiopeia Play Video Engage with brush to bait out her W. If she misses her Q you can just run her down if she is overextended. You die if you get stunned by her r.

CorkiCorki can buffer his dash so even if you root him the dash will go through. dont use your whole combo unless you flash on him or if he facechecks you.

Diana Play Video Engage if Q/W is on cooldown and she is overextended. Hard matchup so i recommend playing for roams.

Ekko Play Video Play with brush to deny him his passive. If you combo fast and start with ice Ekko cant use his R

Fizz Play Video Try to bait out his E with brush, you win if he has E on cooldown. If Fizz hits R on you he 1shots you, even if you are under your turret. DONT USE R IF HE HAS E

Galio Play Video If Galio uses E on you, just run him down. Make sure you arent being ganked and wait for his Aftershock to wear off

GangplankEngage if he misses his barrel. Dont fight in his R. Ignite before he uses W

GravesDodge his Q2. Trade when he is reloading.

Irelia Play Video Dont full combo her if she has W. Play with brush. Dont trade after she has vampscepter, all in if she wastes her W and you have ignite.

Kassadin Play Video Trade at lvl 2, proc boneplating before. Kassadin can buffer his R to dodge your R.

Katarina Play Video After Katarina uses her E you have a small window to trade since she cant dodge your Q then. Use ice to all in or she can just E out of your ultimate.

Kayle Play Video Dont let her proc PTA by using brush. At lvl 6 Kayle has to predict when you will R if you play with brush since she cant use R during your R.

You can take a short trade if Kennen has Q on cooldown. After lvl 6 Kennen can 100-0 you if you dont 1shot him before he presses R

Leblanc Play Video Start W and auto her if she jumps on you lvl 1 as she will tank the whole wave. Her E reveals you in brush. She can buffer her W so be carefull with how you use your R.

Lissandra Play Video Trade if she misses Q. Be carefull of her gank setup. Use ice Q to prevent her from casting E2.

LuxStart W to dodge her spells. Dodge her Q and you win trades. Lux players will move in to river and camps bushes waiting for you to follow so be carefull when you follow her.

Malphite Play Video Use W to dodge his comet damage. Malphite has bad waveclear so play for roams.

Malzahar Play Video If malzahar autopilot pushes the first waves, freeze it and kill him lvl 3. He is only a threat after lvl 6 if his jungler is nearby or he has ignite.

Orianna Play Video Trade with brush at lvl 3, if she disrespects your brush you can all in as long as u dont tank to much minion damage.

Pantheon Play Video Use brush Q when he jumps you to deny him free autos. His E is on a long cooldown so look for all ins after he used it.

Rumble Play Video Rumble can basically 1shot you at lvl 3 if he is yellow. trade after his overheat runs out.

Ryze Play Video All in if he uses phaserush and root, otherwise you get kited.

SeraphineHer shield has a long cooldown so if she uses it you can all in.

SettPlay with brush Q. Dodge his W. You need to limittest in this matchup in order to know what you can and can not do.

Sylas Play Video '
If Sylas jumps on you lvl 1 you all in him with W. Dont let him W you for free, if he overextends to W you, ignite him early and run him down.

SyndraSyndras E has a 18 seconds cooldown, Qiyanas E is 12 seconds. Use this time to all in her if she disrespects you.

Talon Play Video Go in for short trades if you dodge the W2. Talon wins if he procs his passive

TryndamerePlay with brush. Dont trade if he has full fury.

Twisted Fate Play Video Go on him if he uses his W. Make sure you are not tanking to many minions, TF does a surprising amount of damage if he has electrocute+ignite.

VeigarVeigars cage is really annoying, go on him if he wastes it.

Vel'KozVel'Koz E has a long cooldown, you have a 4 second window to kill him after he uses it.

VexYou can never go on her if she has her passive up. Bait out an ability from her if she has it.

Viktor Play Video Dont get stuck in his W as you will tank minions and Viktors damage for free. If Viktor goes aery/electrocute he does a lot of damage.

Vladimir Play Video Go on him after he uses his empowered Q. you can sit in brush and ER him without him being able to press W if you are fast enough. His W cooldown is long so punish him if he uses it.

XerathGo on him if he misses his E. Poke him with EQWQ through minion.

Yasuo Play Video Keep his shield down. His W can block all of your damage so play around this cooldown. Yasuo can never ult you if you use brush as he needs vision of his target to use it.

Yone Play Video You need to punish Yones weak early game. go on him if he uses W or E.

Zed Play Video You can trade if Zed uses his W. Ult Zed in to a wall if he ults you. Dont ult first or you will lose!

Zoe Play Video Dodge her bubble. Ignite late to deny her 2 ignites. Respect her if she has a good W active.
