Introduction
Ok. Leblanc is a very viable champion because her burst can kill you without even realizing what happened. If you play her, make sure you get mid as she's very squishy before and after rylai's. Once people realize how much awesomeness she has, there will be a leblanc revolution. She will be the new akali or jax. You are free to deviate from my guide and use it however you like. Comments would be appreciated.
Leblanc is a character that requires fast fingers to combo an enemy champion down. I typically use Sigil of Silence,
,
and
in that order. A 3-4 hit combo is usually enough to take down the high damage players. I use q and r because Mimic vamps up Sigil of Silence to a high degree. The double silence also prevents some escapes (Kassadin). When playing against damage per second champions in mid, let them push until lvl 4. By then you will have q,w and e. The silence and trap will keep them from running away. Ignite and q again for the kill. By 2 or 3 kills, you should be able to buy Will of Ancients. I get it for a couple of reasons, I'll explain down below. Overall she's a really fun hero because it's very satisfying 3 or 4 hit ko-ing a person. These days, I see some Leblancs more often and the somewhat occasional Leblanc ban in ranked. She might be the champion to get you out of elo hell. Get ready to conquer, to thrive. (Get the reference? xD)

The extra 30 ap or so, from
and
make her Sigil of Silence a lot stronger at level 1. I added in
because her Distortion cooldown is kinda long and the shorter her ultimate cooldown is, the more kills you can get. There isn't really an explanation needed for
I prefer flat runes becasue you get more out of them in the beginning. Late game, the extra you get from by tiered runes, isn't very significant in my opinion.

I max out Sigil of Silence first because it's her strongest spell. Consequently, a maxed out sigil followed by a mimic: sigil makes really good burst damage. Next I max
so I can farm a lot faster. A distortion and ultimate combo does some pretty high damage if you're in a team fight and the enemy is clustered up. I max out
last because I really only need its trap. Ethereal chains' total damage output is around as high as sigil of silence's but the trap is the most important part. That's why I have one point in it at level 4.

I buy
Doran's Ring to give her some extra power and she oom's kinda fast.
Next is Hextech Revolver for some extra ap and the spell vamp will give you some survivability. Will of the Ancient's passive with some spell vamp and extra ap is a double bonus. Your allies get some extra health and your allied mages get a bit stronger. What's awesome about this item is that it's passive can stack multiple times.
Next comes
Rabadon's Deathcap. The reason for it is obvious. After buying it you average around 330 ap.
I get
Rylai's Crystal Scepter next for the slow. With it, I buy
Blasting Wand and
Amplifying Tome first. That's my preference but you can buy it in you're desired order. Often by Rylai's I win or they surrender.
If not, continue with
Zhonya's Hourglass for some armor against the ranged ad carries and the stasis. F
inally, if you STILL haven't won,
Morello's Evil Tome will give you the nice 20% cooldown to really rape people down. The mana regeneration keeps you from going base for mana too often.

I get
Ignite b/c in my mastery, I get some extra ability power for it. The kill ensure is also nice. Exhaust[[ is good against all champions who mid. The combination of both, with the rapid Leblanc combo is enough for the kill. [[Ghost is a decent alternative to chase people down before Mimic is available.
Flash is ok, but I honestly think it's a waste since you have two at your disposal but it's your choice.
DO NOT get these spells:
Heal you're team will consider you a troll and you just got a queue dodger
Clarity is a waste. She doesn't oom as bad as
Galio so you don't need it.
Fortify you get this in ranked, you're a tool.

I love the new masteries. The extra movement speed makes Leblanc not as slow, allowing me to get
. The extra ap is great early game. I think that the mastery remake allows leblanc to be a more prominent player now. If you decide to use my masteries as a guideline, Leblanc by no means is a support or tank, so DO NOT stick mastery points into the Defense of Utility sections.

Leblanc is a character best suited for jumping in after others have started fighting. With the enemies preoccupied, you will obliterate all in your path. Try to stay together as people will hate you more and more as you kill them off in the game. Your tank is you buddy. After you attack, wait for your cooldowns to refresh and jump back in the fray.
Pros:
High Burst
Can take down most mid laners (watch out for kassadin)
Her awesome ultimate has a low cooldown when maxed (with runes).
Really fun to play
Cons:
Early game, her cooldowns suck
Squishy before and after rylai's
Kassadin will rape her (like he does every mage)
She tends to be focused
You're screwed if you use distortion and ultimate is on cooldown and you need to escape.

IF you're more focused with farming, max out distortion first, and sigil of silence second. Keep ethereal chains last. Because of the AoE effect, she can take down a huge mob of creeps really easily. If there are no huge mobs of creeps, get dragon first and the golems or that slow dragon thing. After, get the normal golems and the wraiths. Last resort, go to wolves. Stealing jungle is highly reccomended.
