Introduction

Hey guys. This is my first build guide on this site but I thought I would share my fun times with Full AP Nautilus in Mid lane. I have been playing this for awhile now and thought others might enjoy it.

Runes

You may change runes as you feel however I like to bring 7 health for his shield and 2 mana regen to help with his high mana costing spells. Attack damage is to carry through the early game and to help when using Nashor's Tooth later on. Magic resist is just standard along with AP quints.

Masteries

The masteries are fairly standard for AP. The cooldown reduction is something I find a bit essential for his starting kit. Without it your spells take a bit too long to come back. Although it isn't much I find it helps just enough to carry through early-mid game.

Items

The reason I bring Nashor's tooth is to capitalize on his passive. With it you can easily apply it to every enemy on their team once they are within range.

Skill Sequence

The only time I would max his shield first over his hook is if the enemy mid champ is too aggressive and you need to play a bit more passive. Other wise his hook scales very well off of AP that it is perfect for bursting people down. His E is ideal for farming and early CC.
