The reason
Keep slayin' 'em out there for me~!
When I first tried her jungle I had been taking Absolute Focus, but I found out that's really only helpful for those out of vision snipes which are more of a rare occurrence, whereas the CDR allows you to manage your itemization a bit easier as well as actually helps with clearing camps, even though most runes don't. Thanks for pointing that out for me, I'll be sure to fix that now!
I've been on somewhat of a hiatus for new guides since moving to a new apartment with terrible internet, but I'll be moving again into a larger location by the beginning of July at the latest and should be back on track to get some more done! Until then feel free to check out my other more popular ones here:

Keep slayin' 'em on the rift for me~!
The defensive items really helped out when we got a super awful start in one of the recent games and even gave enough lee-way to set up counter-plays, without dragging the DPS down too much.
Been reading a bit more into rune effects which brings me to the next question: is Eyeball Collection still better than Ghost Poro and Zombie Ward? People seem to be discussing Zombie Wards and Ghost Poro are currently the faster and therefore better alternative to scaling more AP than Eyeball Collection currently is. When I read into them they all seem to end up at the same additional AP bonus. Placing 10 wards seems a lot more feasible to reach every game than killing 10 champions.
Ghost poro is somewhat similar, although the reason for running eyeball collection over it is the same in both mid and support; you should mostly be staying in lane, and the places you most want wards are also places you can't drop a poro, like at the entrance to dragon/rift. Ghost poro works best on junglers, as it's a safe way to keep an eye on the enemy jungle without having to spend extra on pinks as they clear them out.
All in all, Morgana actually snowballs into late game fairly easily and it's reliably easy to get enough takedowns to stack it, basically for the same reasons I build Mejai's on her so often as well.
