ALL THE INFORMATIONS ARE FOR SEASON 9
I WILL UPDATE THIS GUIDE OVER THE TIME. I WILL EVEN MAKE A SPECIAL CHAPTER WHERE I WILL PUT ALL THE INFO ANY COMMENTS ASKS FOR. LIKE INFO FOR SPECIFIC SCENARIOS
Now, most people use fleet foot work on Kassadin, but I really don't find it useful.
Let's get to this guide's rune, shall we?
Starting off with the main rune, the one and only Dark Harvest(DH).
In season 9 the DH is completely different. Once an enemy champion is below 50% health, any of dmg you apply to that enemy will be increased by an 36 physical (at 0 stacks) an it will harvest their soul, permanently increasing the dmg. By the way, there is no stack limitations the base cooldown is 40s but it resets on takedowns. So in other words, do a **** ton of dmg to enemy's below 50%
Sudden Impact will always activate when you use Riftwalk.
Eyeball collection will give you additional AP.
Ultimate Hunter will make Riftwalk have an even lower CD.
As we all know, Triumph is a very good rune.
Coup de grace will just increase the DH dmg.
Tear has to be the first item you buy when you recall, because charging it will take a lot of time, and if you play right when you first back you will have more then enough gold.(play stile below)
I suggest you firstly buy Swiftness Boots before you buy the Sheen, or maybe you can can buy them both if your farming was almost perfect.
I normally Rush Lich Bane first so I can do a lot of dmg.
I secondly go Luden's Echo because the charge is very op, but if you prefer you can go with Rod of Ages because it does take 10 minutes for it to become very op.
Once tear is fully charged buy the Manamuna. As soon as you buy it, it will transform into the Muramana. the Muramana is good on Kassadin because it empowers every ability of his.
I personally never got to buying the Archangle's Staff because the game ended.
Take W secondly use it on you enemy every time you are close enough to replenish your mana
You should max out W for the maximum dmg output, if the enemy tends to run from you a lot, max out e secondly so they can't run, if the enemy does quite some dmg and is a ap based champ max q.
I normally get level 11 very early, like around 11 minutes, and that is when I first Recall.
Now then, in early game, the enemy will be under heavy pressure because of your constant poking and (95% of the time) full health, so you might get ganged a lot. But for Kassadin is no problem, you will be able to pick up at least a kill if not a doublekill and still be alive, Witch will put even more pressure on your enemy.
When you want to kill a squishy enemy try to pop up behind a wall or out of a bush using your R, followed up by a Q, then another R to get in range of your E and hen just pop W. If they are below 50% health they will die from just one W maybe another R if they have Heal.
When being chased by one enemy, wait for your Q and W o be up. Then Q the enemy R to get in range E them and then nuke them aka use W.
