Overview
Rune page setup isn't working so essentially get 8 ad marks, 1 crit mark, 9 mr glyphs, 9 armor or health seals, and 3 ad quints.
Nowadays the exhaust route is fairly potent in securing the first kill; not only does it negate 40% of enemy dmg but the slow is very useful! However, it is entirely possible to replace it with either ignite or teleport depending on your lane. If you're going top, definitely take teleport!
Here I want to explain the basic items that are critical to a hyper-carry Yasuo.
The starting items should always be considered (i've seen doran's shield but it negates too much dmg in early levels to secure a first blood). A Doran's blade, pot, and ward totem is standard, but if you need higher mobility to dodge skill shots go for boots, 4 pots, and the ward totem.
Primarily the first item to start with is phantom dancer, then infinity edge. PD because of the increased dueling potential through extra att spd (10%) and movement speed when within 550 range of a visible champ. These stats are critical to efficient trades. Static Shyv just isn't an effective item choice for Yasuo anymore (truly SS is outdated in terms of what a hyper-carry Yas should do). As for Infinity Edge, if you don't have enough gold for the entire thing always start with the cloak to maximize critical chance to 100%. And when you do get IE your max critical dmg increase pretty much negates your passive in lowering max crit. Lastly the boots: choose Mercurial Treads, Berserkers, or Ninja Tabis. Everything else is circumstantial and the item order can change depending on your matchups but those three are nearly always bought first for the hyper-carry.
