Janna Passive Ability
Hi, this is a guide to janna
The Marks are AP pen as this will greatly help her damage out. Seals are Ability power, though I use dodge runes for survivability, and i'm going to miss them. Glyphs are cd reduc, as you'll be starting out at level 1 with 15% cd reduc from runes/masteries. Quintessences are ap because it helps out alot early game starting out with 13 ability power. The movement speed quints add to your survivability, the 3% + 2 for masteries, and her passive, makes un-catchable by almost anyone.
I'm still working on this, I need to add some mana in there somewhere, I am just unsure of where and what items yet. During your time as Janna, you will be buying mass amounts of pots/wards as this is your job. You are fast, hard to gank, and you are playing support, so support your team! Dorans to start out is health, ap, mp5, its a good choice. I then go for boots of swiftness due to always having 3 speed and with boots of mobility possibly losing it to 1 auto attack and getting killed because you went from 5 - 2 boot speed. Moonfire spellblade is next, this is good ap which is what Janna needs these days, not to be built as support, just played as support. The tenacity should help a lot against hard cc teams and allow you to escape just to bounce them up as you juke away. Morello's tome for the cooldown, which is probably the most important aspect of janna as it allows more shields, more slows, more bounces, more ults. Rylais scepter adds to your survivability, also helps out to initiate.
Pros - great disruption
- 260 AP at 18 = great shields, damage, heal.
- faster then most champions
- ability to reset teamfights
- ability to get away from ganks with this build
Cons - Squishy if for some reason the other team can all focus you.
- Less support items
- Less mana then I would like her to have, though her mp5 isn't bad.

Did I mention that Janna is not only one of the best supports for 5's Imo. That she is also a great initiator with her howling gales or Zephyr's if your smart. Overall Janna should be played more to see her true powers as a support. People look at her and think barely a heal, a weaker shield then most supports, "i've seen janna's play and I don't even want to try her because she looks terrible". That heal is what can make the difference in teamfights accompanied by the like 900 distance pushback. That shield can make the difference in your ad carry's to get those extra kills. Janna is almost unstoppable if played right, you can never catch her, people run from your howling gales, your slow is there if you miss your howling gales, and so is the shield. I love janna and hope you enjoy my guide. I will be updating constantly.
