Introduction

Hey this is Naltherian, I'm making a guide more over for my own personal log on how Lucian needs to be built, played, and looked as. Note that this guide might not be up to 100% at times but again this is more for my own notes.

Runes

The Rune set as of is to increase the amount of damage you ult can be used for both for offensive if you hit level 6 before they do or if you see any good openings/bad engages.

Items

You need Essence Reaver as a first item for decent cooldown and damage. I.E. is still a good start but in my experience the stats you get from Essence Reaver helps more than I.E. would. With the set build you get up to 91% crit chance good lifesteal and if you replace boots with Regards then you have to play with the amount of MS that you've lost. Though it does give you a good boost toward the tanks.

Pros / Cons

Pros: Lucian is able to gain good advantages to fast turns and both dps and burst damage. He's very mobile when played with correct mechanics and has an amazing end game.

Cons: Lucian's early game has been significantly nerfed since the patch and champions are able to expose how squishy he is.

Team Work

Although Lucian is weak in his early game now once he gets his Q to level 2 if you and your support are coordinated enough his burst damage can be put to good use in multiple occasions forcing the opponent to either leave lane or give a kill. Just be careful with how much pressure you decide to use because it will get the junglers attention.
