Lets now start with our OP Sett Build guide and how to win games easier than ever!

Let’s start about why we call Sett with this build IMMORTAL and why we choosing this build instead of anything else, the answer is pretty simple cause it’s going to be close to IMPOSSIBLE to die, no matter what enemies you will have against you!
You will see lots of people playing Sett with damage builds, on-hit builds, but Sett is designed to be played as a REAL 1v9 IMMORTAL BOSS that will outdamage any other build, a total unstoppable champion that will be impossible to die and cause of the combination of Spirit Visage Revitalize that it will be combined perfectly with your Haymaker making the shield from the skill to increase by 40% and the overall damage that you can do with this skill alone will be more than enough to DELETE Champions!

Your passive Pit Grit together with the Second Wind and Doran's Shield will make it IMPOSSIBLE to lose from lvl 1, no matter what you are playing against, cause of the insanely big amount of hp regeneration that you got and that you will multiply it even further by Spirit Visage for another 25% later on!

With this build Sett will be a total MONSTER in ANY LANE, be it Top, Mid, Jungle, support or even BOT cause we maximizing his potential greatly by using the BEST item-runes-skills combinations that will make you unstoppable while of course having tons of fun while playing him!
Sett is one of the champions right now that not only will totally destroy any champion, or even 3 champions (1v3) with our build, but will also support his teammates cause of your ultimate and your W that can teleport for a gank or even save your teammate from getting killed in the middle of the fight, will you CONTINUOUSLY NON-STOP FIGHTING against all 5 of them!
And cause of your R The Show Stopper you will be able to take the TANKIEST member of the enemy team, throw it to them and then go melee range, pull them all towards you with Facebreaker and instantly one shot them with your Haymaker while being IMMORTAL!

Let’s get started by explaining Sett is going to be the REAL IMMORTAL BOSS!

Lets start with the runes and why to play with this set of runes is one of the most important things!

For Resolve:
Grasp of the Undying One of the most powerful runes in the game for champions like Sett and especially for him cause of his skills, this rune will give you 3 stats, bonus damage with % of your HP that will work greatly with your Knuckle Down that will do %Max HP of the enemy target as well.
Making Grasp of the Undying the most important rune for this champion, its 3rd effect and one of the most important stat that most people forgetting is the 5 permanent HP that you will also get each time you are using it, the more you fight, the more IMMORTAL you will be!
So just from Grasp you will have 3 effects that together with your passive will make you a total monster, but this is just the beginning. Let’s continue!!

Shield Bash A super important rune, a MUST TO HAVE for Sett and one of the reasons that to go for Grasp is the only way, it will give you bonus Armor-Mr each time you got a shield PLUS bonus damage that scales with the % of the shield for your next basic attack cause of your Haymaker you will use Shield Bash non stop, also cause of Sterak's Gage you will have a second shield or even a third shield with Gargoyle Stoneplate that will make you EVEN STRONGER and will use this effect for two times in row and of course cause of Spirit Visage and Revitalize you will multiply your HEALS and SHIELDS by 40%

Second Wind Another monstrous rune, HP REGAIN each time you receiving damage from the enemy that scales with your MISSING HP, people keep underestimate it, but cause of this rune, Pit Grit and Doran's Shield you will be totally UNSTOPPABLE early, cause this triple regeneration from level 1 will give you the ability to trade with the enemy for AS LONG AS YOU WANT and kill them easily while being Full HP!

Revitalize One of the most BROKEN runes that on certain champions works incredible, Sett is one of them, 5%-15% BONUS HEALS and SHIELDS that together with Spirit Visage you will increase these effects up 40% and will make you an IMMORTAL MONSTER! Also you will increase the heals and shields from allies such as Janna Yuumi Sona etc. Making you even stronger!

The secondary runes tree that we will choose will always be PRECISION and that cause we need the Triumph rune that will give you missing HP HEAL plus bonus gold per kill/assist
Plus one of the other 2 choices:
Legend: Tenacity This rune is giving you a 30% total bonus tenacity, making you reaching an even greater number while playing with Mercury's Treads or simply having the ability to go for Plated Steelcaps and use its awesome effect vs on-hit damage dealers while also having a tenacity stat!

Or

Legend: Alacrity If you are not having that much CC against you,then this will also going to be a great option, increase your total attack speed that will help you do even greater amount of total damage!

By having this combination of runes you will realize that Sett is many times stronger than you think, making him impossible to die while having the damage to kill them all, even if you are 1v5!
Now that you understood the combination of items Balorians, you are ready to go for the ITEM CHOICES and realize how powerful this champion really is!
Let’s continue with the item choices now.

As we talked above Sett start item will ALWAYS BE no matter what the Doran's Shield plus a Health Potion this will give you an insanely big amount of regeneration that from the early stages of the game will make you unstoppable and unable to die!
Doran's Shield is one of the most gold efficiency items in the game, that means its stats will cost 1300+Gold while the actual cost of the item is only going to be 450! We will try to keep it till literally full late game and 5th item and never sell it before, making us to use it for the entire duration of the game and fully use its benefits!

Our first back item will always be Bami's Cinder that will give you HP and tons of AOE Damage that will help you dominate against any target plus Refillable Potion and Cloth Armor if we got enough gold, your main focus is to go back to base with 1150 gold, in order to buy Bami's Cinder and Refillable Potion something that people ignoring is that by buying Refillable Potion as soon as possible in the game, you will have free pots all lane phage long and you will also sell it and gain back some of the gold that you invested to this item, making it TOTALLY FREE!

Then and before we finish our first item that is going to be Sunfire Aegis we will first buy Bramble Vest cause of the armor and its effects will make us even stronger, you will repel back damage while applying the Grievous Wounds effect that will reduce their healing/Regeneration effects.
The moment you will finish buying these two part items, you will be ready to fight against any kind of enemy, be it an AP TYPE or an AD TYPE champion, you will have damage and enough sustain to overpower them completely, even if you are playing 1v2! By having continuing healings effect, like the regeneration from Pit Grit, Second Wind, Doran's Shield and Grasp of the Undying you might be able to even 1v3 if you use your R right and instant kill the first target!

Our first item, will be the legendary Sunfire Aegis this item will give you EVERYTHING that our immortal monsters needs, HP, Armor and a Damage effect that will melt everything around you!
Cause Sett is all about sticking close to the target, your Q Knuckle Down movement speed bonus, your E Facebreaker pull effect, even your R The Show Stopper will make sure to keep Sunfire Aegis effect activated in full stacks but also cause of your fast hits with your passive Pit Grit and Q Knuckle Down

Then you will start building your One of your Mythic item options! For Sett we got PLENTY of different reasons and I will fully explain them now.


1. Goredrinker this item will be the very first choice, AD, HP, Renen, Ability haste, OMNIVAMP and a Damage - Missing healing effect that will let you have another source of HEALING, plus per legendary item you will have bonus Ability haste to spam the Goredrinker effect more but also all of your skills.
This item will combine IMMORTALITY with MAX HEAL and will create an unstoppable monster that will DAMAGE, SURVIVE and HEAL even while fight 1v5!
Also the bonus AD plus Ability haste with Goredrinker will give Sett the ability to spam his W non stop, not only you will be doing 1000+ True damage, but you will also have HUGE SHIELDS that will increase its value from Revitalize, Spirit Visage and use it with Shield Bash to also do BONUS DAMAGE!


2. Jak'Sho, The Protean another powerful item for Sett, this item will give you Armor, Mr, HP, Ability haste, armor and magic resist the more you fight and while being fully stacked you will have a DRAIN EFFECT plus even more resistances!!
As Sett we will always going to FIGHT ALL OF THEM, this item will give us the resistances but also the drain effects to survive longer, apply more damage and be there for your teammates while making enemy's team life a NIGHTMARE from your insane damage and sustain!


3. Divine Sunderer another INSANE Item for Sett cause of how many times you will activate its passive effect cause of your Q-W-R spam, this item will give you AD, HP, Ability haste, a bonus damage effect, heal and mix penetration. The reason this is also an option is cause we will use ALL OF ITS EFFECTS to destroy all, we will have bonus AD for more damage from our skills/hits, more HP and also an extra damage effect that we will use after our skills, HEAL that we will multiply cause of Revitalize and Spirit Visage even further and most importantly mix armor and magic penetration effect, our Immortal Sett will do except physical damage from the skills-hits also MAGIC DAMAGE from runes and items ( Sunfire Aegis + Thornmail + Grasp of the Undying) so you will have bonus damage just by finishing your legendary items!


4. Iceborn Gauntlet another good option, bonus Armor, HP, Ability haste and some AMAZING effects, except the bonus damage that you will have after using your skills, you will also have a HUGE AOE SLOW effect plus a %Damage reduction that will help you survive longer while fighting against champions that will do high amount of damage and are hard to catch, this item will be the answer to easily reach and kill any mobile champion!! Also with each legendary item you will have bonus TENACITY, Slow resistances and HP, making it a very powerful choice that will also make you have bonus tenacity that together with Legend: Tenacity and Mercury's Treads to reach 60%+ and make yourself unstoppable from any kind of CC or SLOW Effect!
This effects will be for sure a must to have as Sett support that your job is to make sure your teammates will catch and kill the targets easily!


Then we will finish the Thornmail with these 3 items you are ready to battle any kind of enemy and win easily, even in 1v5 situations even if they got AP DAMAGE, you won’t have any kind of problem, cause Sunfire Aegis will give the extra BURN DMG and HP to survive, Thornmail except of course the bonus HP, ARMOR and more repel damage will give you another effect, while immobilizing the enemies you will activate another much stronger HEAL REDUCTION EFFECT and reduce their healing for 40%, making them UNABLE TO KILL you but also UNABLE TO HEAL AND SURVIVE!

Then we will finish our Boots into MOST OF THE TIMES Mercury's Treads cause we need the extra TENACITY effect, plus to balance out the ARMOR and MAGIC RESIST, we will only have Spirit Visage for magic resist and together with the boots it will be MORE THAN ENOUGH!
If you playing against FULL AD teams with ZERO CC, then go for Plated Steelcaps especially against champion that using basic attacks as main source of damage, like for example Tryndamere Yasuo or Master Yi etc. this item will COUNTER THEM completely, cause it will reduce their pre-armor reduction damage by 12% (its pretty big, cause after that you will recude it even further cause of your resistances)

Our next item will ALWAYS BE Spirit Visage this item might be one of the most important to have items for our build, the reason is cause of the combination of Revitalize that we talked about you will have an insanely amount of bonus healing, that will help you sustain and easily right now destroy any kind of enemy, be it FULL AD or FULL AP and even have the power to 1v5 easily! The stats that Spirit Visage gives are the most gold efficiency stats that you can buy in the game, not only you will have HP-MR-Ability Haste-HP REGAIN but you will also have 40% BONUS HEALS and SHIELDS together with Revitalize from any kind of source that you got plus heals and shields from your teammates as well, so just imagine playing with a Soraka or Janna with you or even deadlier to have Yuumi!!
Also Spirit Visage bonus healing will increase ALL HEALING effect, that includes your HP regaineration effects from Pit Grit, Base HP Regaineration, Second Wind and even Doran's Shield that we will FOR SURE HAVE on us, to understand the true value, while fighting after finishing Spirit Visage pay attention on your Health bar to see the "Regaineration per second effect number" there. You will be surprised about how HUGE the number will be by combining everything we talked above!
Also the shield from Haymaker will be multiplied by 40%+ as well, you want to know what that means? Your Haymaker is storing 50% of your max HP as grit, this Grit will come to you as shield, lets say you got 4000hp, just like that you will have a 2000 SHIELD EFFECT that will be multiplied by 40% and make it go up to 2800 Shield instead, is it just that? Of course not, cause of the power of Shield Bash you will now use the 8.5% of that shield plus 1.5% of your bonus hp as DAMAGE BACK with your next basic attack, to understand the total number, it is around: 280+ Dmg ONLY FROM A SINGLE RUNE! Without calculating the true damage that Haymaker can really do!

Now that we finally finished our 4th Core items and by already having everything that we need to overpower all and cause of the combination of everything that we talked above, we got Burn damage effects, repel damage, healing effects and INSANE HEALS AND SHIELDS! So now we going to the final item option!

For last item you got some interesting options:

1. Warmog's Armor the MOST gold efficiency item in the game, its passive alone is 1000% gold efficiency of its cost as a stat and this item of course is Warmog's Armor not only you will have HP, Ability, HP Regain but you will also have an insanely out of combat HP REGAIN, imagine that you will have the power to go in, fight literally for AS LONG AS YOU WANT and then, if you are TOO LOW, to flash or just simply walk away, wait for 10seconds and then go in again with FULL HP, something else that right now is a good time to realize, we also playing with the rune Second Wind this rune is giving you health regeneration equal to 6 (+ 4% of your missing health)
cause its scales with the missing HP and cause we will have 4000+ TOTAL HP or even more with our BUILD, the moment you are with only 1000 HP left you will have regeneration ~12HP per second (~120 in 10 seconds) this amount, will be multiplied by your Spirit Visage as well by 25% (its a same that Revitalize is not scales with HP regan a well) that means, from the Second Wind alone and without calculating anything else you will have HP regain of ~16 ‬HP per second (Imagine that you also have, the base hp regain, Spirit Visage hp regain, Warmog's Armor hp regain to sum them up to even greater number)

2. Gargoyle Stoneplate anohter powerful item that will give you ARMOR, MR plus % Bonus armor and Magic resist while fighting (working great with the rest of the build as well that meant to make us fight an entire team) and also a HUGE SHIELD effect that will be used to dodge any kind of burst damage they might use on you, making you have 3 different shields that all will be multiplied by Spirit Visage and Revitalize and will also be used for bonus damage cause of Shield Bash
The combo while playing with this item is SIMPLE, what you need to do is use your R The Show Stopper on the first target you will see infront of you (we need a high HP target for better results) and aim towards throwing yourself towards literally the entite enemy team all 5 OF THEM, then the moment you land the ground, press Gargoyle Stoneplate, 99% of the times, when someone engaging like that, the entire enemy team will focus them and that what we NEED, by using your first shield effect you will absorb all of their damage, ultimates that they will use on you, CC that wont affect you cause of tenacity and their entire FOCUS, then after losing the first shield and while having FOR SURE your grit fully stacked you will use your W Haymaker towards your enemies by aiming for as many people possible to be hit by the center of your Skill, this alone will first make you receive LITERALLY ZERO Damage and secondary do 1000+ True damage to everything in front of you.
Then you will continue fighting and after a while use the 3rd shield effect from Sterak's Gage and cause of the seconds that will be pass and your ability haste you will have your Haymaker ONCE AGAIN, making you use 4 SHIELDS IN A SINGLE TEAMFIGHT!!!!!!!

3. Force of Nature if you got HEAVY AP Damage and you want to be sure you will survive from it, then this is your choice. The stats will be bonus HP, MR, Movement speed bonus and another passive that will trully make you immortal against magic damage. You will reduce % of their magic damage that you are receiving and this effect wont be affected by their Magic penetration, making you ALWAYS reduce their damage and be able to survive much longer!!

Note: Another reason for chooising Warmog's Armor is the INSANE HP that you will have, more HP, means more shields, more damage, more sustain and more IMMORTALITY, cause Sunfire Aegis damage effect scaling with your HP, by increasing it by 800 you will add much more burn damage around you, while also having more HP Regaineration from Second Wind as well and the HP Fountain heal with the other passive!

And also never forget to always get your Elixir of Iron for BONUS HP, TENACITY and also bonus movement speed for your allies that following you into battle or even Elixir of Wrath cause overall we are doing lots of physical damage as well

The Full Sett Item build will look like this:

And now you can fully understand why this combination of items together with RUNES is BY FAR the most powerful one that you can even play with on Sett
It’s time Balorians for you to become the TRUE MONSTER of summoner's rift and make everyone to be your FOOD!!!!

Lets talk about the strategy here. To play with Sett inst only use his PURE Strength as your weapon, like any other WARS, at league you need to use your HEAD as well to win the game.
So let’s talk about what you need to focus.

Creeps(FOCUS on FARM): The most important thing is to focus on your farm, you need to farm fast and if you can kill all the creeps without missing even one. This way you will take the lead from your enemy champion, dont be afraid to use your skills for last hits even at the 1 level.

Play Video
Stay Alive: To not to die at lane and not have any kills is more worth than to be 3-3 or 4-4 with your enemy Lane champion.
Your build focusing to be the strongest at the MID-Late game, doesn't matter if you can’t kill now, focus on farm and you will be able to show your true Strength at the right time of the game.

To play Sett is incredible FUN and easy as well, our Immortal build will make sure that you won’t have any problem against any match up, the reason behind it is cause its close to zero punishable no matter how many mistakes you will make in a game, your passive, doran’s shield, Second Wind, heal effects from Grasp of the Undying and Triumph

Always use your Facebreaker to pull the target close to you, if you are not close then you can use the speed from Knuckle Down and be fast enough to reach him, by using your Facebreaker you will bring him close to you and activate instantly your Cheap Shot to do true damage, then hit him twice and press Knuckle Down but doing that you will hit the target 4 times almost INSTNATLY, applying the max %hp damage as well, but also applying the Grasp of the Undying effect, that means, heal, damage, max hp for you, then if he start fighting back wait to do some damage on you and watch the Grit bar to go close to FULL and then use your Haymaker try to hit him with the center area of the skill to do TRUE DAMAGE instead and maximizing the chance to kill him, if he somehow survive then its time to use your The Show Stopper try to not throw him to a spot that can easily Flash over the wall cause you will probably let him either escape, or use your Flash to chase him down, after finishing this combo you will have back your Knuckle Down and your Facebreaker to use it again and make sure to kill him!
No matter who is against you there will be NO WAY for them to survive or even hope to kill you, cause this build is designed with a way to be absolute IMPOSSIBLE to die in 1v1 or even 1v3 situations!

In team fights, remember to use your The Show Stopper and throw the TANKIEST MEMBER of the enemy team to the backline, this will apply 60% enemy’s champion BONUS HP as DAMAGE AS WELL, making you throw a BOMB to them and make them panic, then instantly use your Facebreaker and if you taking too much damage instantly from the focus use your Haymaker as long as you got the full grit bar filled to apply the max damage and also have the MAX SHIELD, don’t be afraid to use the W once the Grit bar is filled, you will have it again later on cause of the Ability haste that our build got, so try to focus on the target that will die first and let your allies clear up anything that will manage to survive from your 1v5 engage!!

Note: In case you missed in the explaination above, if you choose as last item Gargoyle Stoneplate The combo while playing with this is SIMPLE and BROKEN, what you need to do is use your R The Show Stopper on the first target you will see infront of you (we need a high HP target for better results) and aim towards throwing yourself towards literally the entite enemy team all 5 OF THEM, then the moment you land the ground, press Gargoyle Stoneplate, 99% of the times, when someone engaging like that, the entire enemy team will focus them and that what we NEED, by using your first shield effect you will absorb all of their damage, ultimates that they will use on you, CC that wont affect you cause of tenacity and their entire FOCUS, then after losing the first shield and while having FOR SURE your grit fully stacked you will use your W Haymaker towards your enemies by aiming for as many people possible to be hit by the center of your Skill, this alone will first make you receive LITERALLY ZERO Damage and secondary do 1000+ True damage to everything in front of you.
