Intro

Hello, my name is FrenchFrijoles, and I love League! This is my first guide. It isn't a professional guide, as I am still figuring out Mobafire, and just want to put this out there. I will most likely update this guide when I figure out how to add the nice fancy images. I don't play ranked because I'm not the most competitive person, but I do understand the good ol' basics. I mained top lane and jungle in S6 and 7, and now I'm playing Twitch adc alot. This is a dumb Nunu build I thought of while at work. Any and all feedback would be appreciated! So... yeah! Hope you enjoy this guide!

Why you should choose this guide.

This guide is great if you don't care about other people's opinions. Nunu usually does a bunch of AP damage, with his snowball and ult. AD Nunu is different. It's OK if your ADC feeds, because you're basically a melee ADC! Your W helps you catch up and do more damage, and so does your E! Snowballs are OP, but so is a giant yeti smacking you.

Laning phase.

Start Q or E for the farm. Q lets you have more sustain in lane, but you probably won't need it until level 2 or 3. E will let you poke, and unless you are fighting a champ that enjoys level 1 trades, then you won't need W til 2 or 3 either. I enjoy starting E the most, for the slow, and it lets you block the enemy laner out of CS. Your ability combo isn't too technical. Early game, the damage on your E is pretty good, even without Doran's Ring or Dark Seal. Your passive lets you keep your mana a lot. It's pretty cool. Your combo goes as such:

If you want to engage: use your E to engage, then W in. If you get low, use your Q on a minion to get a minuscule bit of health. The heal may be small, but it can make the difference between life and death.

If you want to run from an engage: use your E, then your W, then Q to heal if necessary.

Get engaged but do want to fight: use your W, then E, then Q to heal if necessary.

Do you see the pattern yet? Your biggest problem during laning phase would be champions with lots of CC, so Nautilus. High mobility champions won't be a problem yet, as you haven't finished 2 or 3 items yet, and since you rush gunblade, your E still does damage (and it's point and click).

Mid game

Mid game you roam and get kills. You probably won't have teleport so mid lane will be your best bet. If you and your jungler wan't to take Rift Herald, then you can easily help with that, since your Q is basically a second smite. Get as many kills as possible so you can snowball (huehue). Here is when high mobility champs become a problem. A lot of your damage requires you to stand next to your target so you can auto. Don't use your W to get to your target, as you want the attack speed. The best part of your W is it let's you be a utility+adc hybrid. You can use your W on both an ally and yourself! Your E and Ult let you slow and deal damage. If you and your team need to catch up, E, then Ult!

Late game

Not much has changed except teamfights will be much harder. You won't be ultra tanky, so you will need a tank on your team to make teamfights easier. I recommend Shen support. Your pick potential is insane. If you see someone out of position, E, then ult if necessary. Your split push is pretty cool. You can go fast, so if you catch their team out on a ward, RUN. You can rotate quickly as well because of the extra CDR from Death's Dance or Ghostblade. Your ult is AOE so if you're reckless you can flash in and ult. That will probably only work if you have a team that will peel for you.

Runes

I don't know how to do those nice fancy pictures yet, so stay with me.

Sorcery + Inspiration
Arcane Comet
Manaflow Band
Transcendence or Celerity
Gathering Storm or Waterwalking

Magical Footwear or Biscuit Delivery
Approach Velocity

Arcane Comet because of your E. Manaflow band because it lets you spam your Q more so you can stay in lane more. Transcendence if you plan on buying all of the CDR items, take Celerity otherwise. Gathering Storm is nice if you think it will be a long game. Like, a loooooooooooong game. Take Waterwalking otherwise since it helps you roam mid mid-game faster. Magical Footwear is nice if you don't need sustain. Biscuit Delivery if you want to stay in lane long.

This second Rune Page I don't like as much, but is still viable in my eyes.

Precision + Domination
Lethal Tempo
Triumph
Legend: Alacrity or Legend: Bloodline
Coup De Grace

Zombie Ward or Ghost Poro
Ravenous Hunter

Lethal tempo, if you can get your target locked down, will up your damage a lot. It won't help you much during laning, but will help with your picks. Triumph because nothing else in that tier would work. Alacrity will help if you plan on getting Lethal Tempo activated as much as possible. Take Bloodline if you are fighting a lane bully. Coup de Grace is really good. The extra damage will help finish off targets in a teamfight with your ult. Also with picks, it just finishes the pick faster, so you can go help your team or continue split-pushing.

Skill Max

So for skill max, I would do this.

You start Q for sustain and farm. E for harass. Then W so you can trade. Start maxing E so you can do more damage. Then do Q so you can apply dragon, rift, and Baron pressure without taking smite. W last because it's the only one left.

Pros / Cons

Counters

Champions with dashes. I would pick Ahri, Kassadin, Jax, or Fiora to counter this build. The last three will probably be laning against him.

Conclusion

Overall, I say this build is a nice fun pick for blind pick. It's not ultra-super-mega-viable, but it's really fun. Remember, nothing hurts more then a yeti punching you 2.5 times a second.
