Story Line
His ship destroyed, his crew nowhere to be found, Olaf miraculously washed up untold miles from ''friendly'' waters on the foreign shores of Valoran, south of Demacia. This unfamiliar place stunned and frightened the Berserker, for Lokfar is not privy to such potent magicians. Approaching them, Olaf hoped that they could use their mysterious powers to send him back to his people. A bargain was struck. Olaf would use his awesome prowess as a warrior to serve the unusual wars of Valoran in the League of Legends, and in exchange the sorcerers would find him a way to return. Despite his participation in the League, Olaf knows better than to trust the ''finger wagglers'' that run the Institute of War. He deliberately keeps details of his life and home from them. After all, with enough information, they would most certainly find the Lokfarians and dominate them as they have dominated all of Valoran, keeping both quietly -- and unwittingly -- in their thrall.
Beware the war cry of the Berserker. What surges toward you is unyielding, free from the shackles of reason.
This Champion guide breaks down Olafs item gaining and runes/masteries into steps easy to play and follow to get your Olaf Champion to become Overpowered in Twisted Tree Line and Summoners Rift. In this build Olaf needs Just under 16500 gold to become fully geared, and you might think thats alot of gold but with the right amount of player kills and Creep kills these items become easier and easier to gain.
-Greater Mark of Alacrity x9
-Greater Seal of Malice x9
-Greater Glyph of Malice x9
-Greater Quintessence of Malice x3
I Find these Runes are so very effective when i play Olaf, on level one during the game these gives Olaf a mighty advantage on his Attack Speed and Critical Chance, you never know when you might hit a lucky Critical Hit on an unsuspecting Opponent. Also These Runes Fit in with Olaf's Masteries Giving him alot of Attack speed, attack damage and critical Chance early game.

For each 1% health missing, Olaf's attack speed is increased by 1%.
This will make your attack speed go through the roof when low on health, but can be a problem as Olaf has pretty low ASpd without items when full with health.
With Undertow
Olaf throws an axe to a target location, dealing 50 / 90 / 130 / 170 / 210 (+0.5 per attack damage) physical damage to units it passes through and slowing them by 24 / 28 / 32 / 36 / 40% for 2.5 seconds. If Olaf picks up the axe, the ability's cooldown is reduced by 6 seconds.
Does what the description says. This skill is what differentiates the "Good" Olaf's from the "Bad" Olaf's. Also, this is your only from of CC (slow) so you must use it wisely when chasing or running. Also note that throwing this somewhere will reveal a small area around where the axe lands for a short time, so it is a good tool for checking bushes.
With Vicious Strikes
For 6 seconds, Olaf's attack damage is increased by 7 / 14 / 21 / 28 / 35 base damage plus 1% of his max health. While active, Olaf gains 9 / 12 / 15 / 18 / 21% lifesteal and spell vamp
The lifesteal/spell vamp isn't noticeable until rank 3 or so, but the AD bonus is definitely nice. You always want to be using this in fights. Never think that the life-steal will prevent you from getting low HP to benefit from your passive is better than the AD bonus and a potential life-saver. And Considering Olaf in this build has 4.2k HP The attack Damage out put from Vicious Strike is enormous, making Olaf deal huge bursts of damage.
With Reckless Swing
Olaf deals to his target 100 / 160 / 220 / 280 / 340 true damage to his target and inflicts 40 / 64 / 88 / 112 / 136 true damage to himself. This Skill is very effective has a small cooldown and doesnt really effect you, if you have 5k hp and can be easily used time and time again, because of Olaf Great attack speed and Life Steal From Vicious Strikes Olaf Quickly regains HP back from this and from Warmogs Armor.
With Ragnarok
Active: For 5/6.5/8 seconds, Olaf is immune to disables and reduces incoming damage by 20/30/40. Passive: Olaf has 10/20/30 increased armour penetration.
Olaf's ultimate received a HUGE nerf a while back, reducing the incoming damage reduction fro 65 to 40 at Lv3. But even with this, Olaf's ultimate is a fearsome one. Sort of like Tryn's, but better in some ways.
1.The passive is not to be ignored. 30 Armor Pen is quite a lot.
2.The damage reduction by 40% is still quite a lot, albeit not as good as the previous whopping 65%.
3.Immune to ALL disables. Any form of CC, e.g. stun, silence, fear, slow e.t.c.
This is what makes you that "Anti-Carry". Rushing in, immune to all forms of CC, soaking up quite a bit of damage, completely obliterating the opponent carry then running out like it's a walk in the park, only with a angry bunch of mob attacking you with everything they got. All in a day's work for Olaf!

Olaf Doesnt really need to start jungling not if you have a Great teamworking team, who support him. How ever This build is effective when jungling because of olaf's Attack speed and Life steal From Vicious Strikes, there is more gold for Olaf to gain from staying in the lanes killing players, turrets and creeps. How ever Olaf can easily and early get geared enough to solo all creeps and dragons in the jungles.
The Summoner Spells i usually go with are Exhaust and and Ghost These Make a great combo for olaf throughout each game because he can easily use both to his advantage, e.g At the start of a game Olaf can easily exhaust and ghost and reckless strike his target cause a huge ammount of damage with your team mates if they even decide to help out. Plus if olaf combines these skills with his Ultimate he cannot be slowed down and can just charge through damaging his target.
you can swap Ghost With Flash but its a matter of opinion, i prefer Ghost but many would prefer to use flash, i find it easier to use Ghost with his Ultimate Ragnarok, because hes immune to slowing effects and spells.
