Introduction

Hey guys, I am TTGOz, a Silver Level Jungler, Mid, and top lane player! Olaf is one of my best/better champions and I really enjoy him, he has so much early game potential and he's great all game long.

So I decided to do my guide on how I play Olaf, enjoy. :)

Runes

Greater Mark of Attack Damage 9 of these to have more damage.

Greater Seal of Armor Need these to survive the early game longer/better, since facing a bruiser if top.

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist Pretty standard choice like Armor Yellows, the most common of top laners do magic damage (Garen, Singed etc.) so this is a pretty good choice, but the recommended choice for any champion.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage 3 of these for a nice early game damage.

Masteries

You can use the same masteries for top and Jungle.

They're made to be tanky with CDR and Minion last hit help!

Items

Olaf really benefits from the passives of Black Cleaver, Frozen Mallot, Warmogs, and the active of Randuins, and the stats of Blade of the Ruined King.

If Olaf has his slow from his Q, his autoattack slow from Frozen Mallot, and the percentage damage per HP from the Blade of the Ruined King, you're pretty much... I shoulnd't say unstoppable, but you might help yourselves get kills, win teamfights etc.

Skill Sequence

You always want to max E first, Q 2nd, and W last.

Unless you're 1v2 Solo top, max E first.

If you are, max Q first so you can hit CS from a distance away.

Spells

Jungle: Ghost, Smite, standard jungle set.

Top: Flash, Ignite OR Ghost, Ignite. You can also go Flash, Exhaust or Ghost, Exhaust.
