Pocket Guide To Morgana Jungle

By Tauricus2017
Jungle path

Start on a Blue sentinel. Make sure you don't level up any ability until the last moment. If you get surprised by enemies, quickly level up Dark Binding and try to escape, If not, level up Tormented Shadow instead and with a help of your teammate, kill Blue sentinel.

Now you should level up to level 2. Put a point in the Dark Binding or Tormented Shadow depending on what spell you learned on level 1. Try to kill the Gromp. Your autoattack range is higher then his so If you will land Q + W on it from long enough distance and then start autoattcking it from the furthest range you can, he should not be able to hurt you while rooted. Unless some special situation happened you should be forced to use 1 charge of refillable potion.

Now let's try to kill Murk wolf. This is a bit trickier camp to deal with but can still be quite OK. Make sure you Dark Binding Greater murk wolf and then use Tormented Shadow on the whole camp. Also remember that Murk wolf are melee so If you root the Greater murk wolf you can actually get out of his AA range while he is rooted just the way we did it with Gromp. Keep autoattcking the greater one and eventually they should all die around the same time.

Now you should head to Red Brambleback and on the way there, put a 1 point into a Tormented Shadow again before even getting Black Shield. Remember that Black Shield is almost completely useless in jungle so no need to rush for it. While fighting with Red Brambleback, try to once again get the range advantage, but make sure it always stays in Tormented Shadow.

Now let's try to kill raptors. Those guys are especially easy and fast to clear so this shouldn't be a problem for you. Just make sure you keep autoattcking and Dark Binding the big one while casting Tormented Shadow on all of them. Remember that Crest of Cinders deals a DOT damage so you can technically leave low health raptors burning to gather some time.

Now that you cleared most of your jungle you have multiple of choices what to do. You should choose at least 1 (but you can choose more) option on what to do now:
  1. Gank mid If the lane is pushed towards your midlaners turret and you think that can result in a kill.
  2. Gank bot If the lane is pushed towards your botlaners turret and you think that can result in a kill.
  3. Kill Rift Scuttler If the bot and mid can not be realistically gankable and you are sure you won't be invaded by enemy jungler while doing so.
  4. Farm Krugs If you are too afraid of getting killed by enemy jungler while other lanes are ungankable.
Now you should recall and rush for Mobility Boots. From now on, the game can move completely random directions and I can not guide you what to do now. Just don't waste time, clear camps, gank lanes and try to be impact-full in the game.
Ganking

WHEN?

When you and a player you want to gank have both enough power to kill the opponent and when the lane is pushed towards your ally, so you can set up an ambush from a river. It is also really good If your target does not have an escape ability ready to use.

HOW?

Easily ping your ally you are on the way, use Predator If you can, and walk up to your target. Don't use Dark Binding right away, I suggest you to wait for your ally to CC the enemy first or you can alternatively use Chilling Smite to make it easier to hit. You can also walk up very close to your target and hit him/her from melee range.

WHY?

Because ganking is an extremely powerful way for a jungler to stay relevant through out all phases of the game. It can help your team mate to be ahead and push lane forward. It can help you get kills and make your enemies lose farm. It can deny a lot of wards along the way If the gank was not successful, so your enemy will fear you even more.
Tips & Tricks
You can use Zhonya's Hourglass when casting Soul Shackles to stay unkillable for the majority of the cast time

When fighting for a Dragon or Baron nashor against enemy jungler, try to cast Dark Binding and Smite at the same time Dark Binding hits a dragon this way your smite will have "bonus damage", it is basically same technique that Lux players do to steal objectives.

You can use Black Shield to deny slowness from honeyfruit or Water dragon

You can use Black Shield to deny some damage from Gromp

You can (as I said) get a range advantage against every camp except raptors. Gromp perhaps is a ranged monster but your range is still a tiny bit longer and with Dark Binding root, you can lock him (and other camps) just in the range they can't attack you from.

When ganking don't throw Dark Binding right away, I recommend saving it. Cast it when you are sure it will land (aka with laner's CC, Chilling Smite, or when you get too close). There is nothing worse then a missed Dark Binding.

You don't necessarily need Dark Binding to spread respect, since your opponent doesn't know If it is/isn't on cooldown. You can play some pretty serious mind games with this in mind.
