Hello. This is my first guide on MOBAFIRE and I will be showing you how I play Cassiopeia in the Mid lane.
I am a Gold player (Gold 3 15/04/15). I know it is not super high ELO, but I have good knowledge on the game and I know how to play certain match-ups. But this is boring, right? So lets get into some fun stuff.

I enjoy playing Mid lane with Cass as she deals tons of damage and is very useful in team fights. Her kiting potential is very high, being able to kite well with the movement speed you get from hitting you Q on an enemy champion, which makes it hard for melee champions to kill you. I feel she is really strong for solo-que but you have to have good positioning, otherwise you are going to die a lot.

Pros:
-Can carry really well
-Very good kiting potential
-Fun to play when doing good
-Can abuse most mid-laners
-Very Strong

Cons:
-Bad if you're behind
-No fast escape (Dash)
-Need good positioning to do good
-High Skill Cap
-If you miss your poison you won't do much damage

On Cassiopeia, you should take Flash and Ignite. Flash is a must as she doesn't have a dash and Ignite is needed to secure kills. However, I sometimes take Heal instead of Ignite if you're in a lane where you cannot win in a 1v1 without some extra health. Other useful summoner spells can be Teleport for helping out other lanes, or Exhaust if you have someone that can burst you easily.
