By Kxwal
Your Goal

Renata’s Entire Kit is Utility-Centered:

Your primary role as Renata in the late game is to peel for your carries (typically the ADC or any damage-dealing carry). Your kit is designed to disrupt enemy engages, keep your carries alive, and turn teamfights around.

Q (Handshake) can be used to stun and disengage.
W (Bailout) is your lifeline, allowing you to resurrect a teammate if they kill an enemy or last long enough.
E (Loyalty Program) can slow and disrupt enemies diving onto your carries.
R (Hostile Takeover) is a game-changer, controlling enemy carries and potentially flipping the fight.

Renata is Fragile (Don’t Be Overconfident):

early you don't have durability till you buy some items,
If you die early in the fight or waste your W (Bailout) on yourself, you're
robbing your team of essential support. Avoid diving in or overextending. Your
job isn’t to be the playmaker, it’s to keep your carries alive.

Why tank items are better?

you need to stay alive long enough to keep your team safe. Being squishy can result in you getting bursted before you can provide use for your W.Items like Locket of the Iron Solari give you survivability while adding utility

Abilities

Passive - Leverage
Renata Glasc's basic attacks and abilities apply a mark to enemies. When allies damage these marked enemies, the mark is consumed to deal additional max health magic damage. This encourages coordination with teammates to maximize damage output.

Q - Handshake
Renata Glasc fires a projectile that damages and roots the first enemy hit. She can then reactivate the ability to move the rooted enemy to her chosen location. This ability is useful for disrupting enemy positions and setting up kills.

W - Bailout
Renata Glasc targets an allied champion (or herself) to temporarily increase attack speed and movement speed and an effect that revives the target if they take lethal damage and then get a kill during the ability’s duration. A disgustingly strong ability that can flip and 2v2 easily, use it carefully.

E - Loyalty Program
Renata Glasc shoots out a projectile that shields Renata and allies hit, well damaging and slowing enemies try using your e to land your q more easily. This is an amazing poke tool as it shields you wide aoe and an okay range. This ability is a mana eater as the cost of mana goes up the more it is leveled be mindful that you have enough mana to use bailout if needed.

R - Hostile Takeover
Renata Glasc launches shoots a wave of chemicals at her enemies that makes them attack their nearest ally as well as buffing their attack speed(be mindful that if no enemies are present they will attack your closest ally which can be helpful)

Usage:

Renata Glasc's kit is centered around disengaging and support of her carries you have amazing peel that can be used to run from unfavorable fights, or it can change the tide of battle instantly. With her abilities being slow they require good timing and strategic awareness to use effectively, making her a challenging but rewarding support to master in League

Items

Locket of the Iron Solari: Is useful because shields for allies give bonus health and resistance for more durability, And synergize well with guardian.

Boots of Swiftness: Helps with your lack of mobility, increases roam time, and slow resistance is very useful in staying safe and engaging or disengaging effectively.

Ionian Boots of Lucidity: Helps with lowering cooldowns of Renata's abilities which are quite long allowing you to constantly peel your team. The price is also very cheap allowing you to buy them quickly.

Redemption: Good item for team fights and it gives you some Health for durability, ability haste to lower CDs, and shield power to boost your E. The Active is a useful ability that can change the outcome of a fight.

Knight's Vow: Once again provides resistance and ability haste allowing you to peel more effectively. The active is amazing with it allowing you to redirect 12% damage from an enemy to you preventing some bursts. It also heals you based on your allies' damage. Putting it on your adc could be the difference between them being 1 tapped or living.

Mikael's Blessing: The main benefit of it is the CC cleanse on the active, a clutch cleanse on your adc could decide the fight. It also increases your shielding amount and gives ability haste.

Shurelya's Battlesong: Strong item for both engaging and disengaging. Stats wise it gives ability haste to reduce CDs, it also gives some AP allowing you to do more damage with your abilities.

Abyssal Mask: Solid choice against high AP teams for the MR but what makes it better is the 12% increased AP damage to surrounding enemies allowing you to help AP carries.

Morellonomicon: Good situationally when the enemy has a lot of healing. Preferred over Bramble as it does not require you to be auto-attacked.

Imperial Mandate: good item for high-damage comps. Both your e and q mark enemies for max health damage, which synergizes well with your passive to provide more damage. Stats wise it gives high AP and ability haste.

Ardent Censer: Allows you to give attack speed to allies you shield. Stats give you more shield power on your E and ability haste for better peeling. Works well with the attack speed your W gives.

Frozen Heart: Great item against auto attackers with its high armor stat. It's passive of reducing 20% of the enemy's attack speed allowing your team to survive.

Vigilant Wardstone: This important vision item allows you to place 2 control wards, allowing better map control. It also gives resistance and health allowing you to tank more. Also gives Ability Haste.

Solstice Sleigh: this amazing support item that rewards you E slow and Q, R CC giving you and your allies healing and movement speed.

Celestial Opposition: good choice of support item to add some more tank to you with its damage reduction, as well as peeling with its slow effect. Good item if you build more enchanter items rather than tank.

Dream Maker: Decent support item for Renata as her shielding procs its passive quite frequently allowing you to boost your allies. The other 2 options are better.

Pros

The Pros of playing Renata.

🟢Strong utility with shielding, CC, and a resurrect.
🟢Versatile with engage and disengage.
🟢Game-changing ult that disable their ability to fight back and attack each other.
🟢Strong poke with E shielding, passive, and slowing.
🟢Never weak, as her kit allows her to never be useless.
🟢Safe pick to play.
🟢Very influential ability that gives a 2nd life.
🟢Her Q being a displacement allows for great play making.
Cons

The Cons of Renata

🔴you can be out-ranged easily.
🔴your Ultimate is painfully slow and can be easily dodged(be creative)
🔴your movement speed is also very slow making it hard to keep up or run away.
🔴you are Squishy early game and get punished for bad positioning
🔴W requires good timing to benefit from the resurrect and the attack speed.
🔴She is very cooldown-reliant with long cooldowns which makes her vulnerable.
🔴Very positioning reliant on landing a Useful ultimate.
🔴Landing or missing a Q can determine if you and your ADC survive or not.
Lane
  • Abuse your e, it gives you a shield and slows the enemy allowing you to take greedy trades.
  • Push for level 2 advantage then e q the enemy pulling them back into your adc's attack range so you can burst them. Remember your auto is how you use your passive so remember to auto attack.
  • Depending on the matchup, positioning in the bush or lane minions is required to abuse your strengths most effectively.
  • In the early lane mana can be quite a struggle make sure you inform teammates if you are low so they don't over-commit when you don't have enough to R or W.
Mid Game

Mid-game you need to focus on vision control, team fights, and protecting your carries.

Teamfights:
Position near Adc ready to peel using Q or R. At this point you are not the one to look for engages, play off your teams engage. Aim to Catch as many enemies as possible aim for grouped-up enemies but remember it moves slowly, don't try to cross-map people. Use your W to keep your carries alive or to extend their chance to dish out DPS.

Vision:
Mid-game is about vision knowing when and where you should commit. Vision control also allows you to have secret ults from the fog helping you catch people off guard. Aim to keep vision on the key area and time it so you have all your wards to when the dragon, baron, or herald comes up.

Goals:
Look to follow up on engages or engage when it is appropriate look for mistakes and turn them into opportunities. Remember not to over-commit your cooldowns before dragons spawn.
Late Game

Late game Renata can decide team fights even when far behind in gold/XP.

Teamfights:
Position smart don't put yourself in a spot where you will get picked easily, remember you are slow with no movement. As in the midgame look clumped together enemies to get the most value of your ultimate.

Vision Control:
Same as mid-game

Items:
Your build has a lot of actives meaning you need to remember to use them and use them efficiently. Aim to place redemption on both allies and enemies, your ult's berserk state provides the best synergy stopping enemies from avoiding the 10% max health true damage redemption has. Most of the time you want your Knight's Vow to be on your carry, but do not be afraid of switching your vow that 12% could save an ally's life. Remember to use the cooldowns smart so they will be up for fights during objectives.
Who i am
