Champion Build Guide

Hey Guys Amityoce here bringing you another informative support guide to the champion Janna
I have been playing league since season 1 playing in almost every elo from silver to plat to diamond even to
high challenger
I peaked 800lp last season and have been challenger since s6. I thought instead of coaching others I could make an Informative Series where I bring you into my mind and show you my thought process on the support role.
So if you have any questions or would like to see another guide or build let me know, feel free to stop by my stream/ Youtube Content will be coming soon!

She is an incredible lane bully one of my favourite go to picks for champions like Leona/Nautilus/Alistar,Blitzcrank and Pyke.
I like to pick her over other champions such as Soraka and Nami when im vsing assassins such as, Kass Talon Zed Fizz Leblanc.
She gives alot of peel to adc's who typically dont have the means to protect themselves in lane and outside of Lane.
Her W is a great initiator in lane, her W is the best form of safe engagement matched with her E.
She has a great skill cap easy for beginner supports but can be quite technical with how she uses her Q and her R.
She is great at disengaging fights and playing front to back which is a vital importance to playing ardent supports.
Con's
She is Quite Squishy, She needs to get up and close to use her W to poke which can lead many other tanky supports/caster mages to engage on you.
Her Carry Potential is Quite weaker in a soloq perspective compared to a few other ardent supports, I definitely Believe she is a situational pick and is great for disengaging and playing back to front.
⭐ You notice that your jungler is getting invaded or chased by the enemy mid/jg and you're closest to your turret then go and roam up and help him even being spotted by the enemy team can stop the enemies from chasing. Especially if you're in a 3v2 situation they will leave.
⭐ You have lane priority early game because you hit level 2 first, your jungler is being contested for scuttle HELP HIM!!!! you lose nothing for it and potentially get a kill or give your jungler a lead.
⭐ You have lane Priority because you read my guides and the enemy jungler is a stronger dueler level 1-6 so forcing a split map early game.
You're trying to assist your jungler so he can actually play the game.
this is one example of a scenario that could happen
⭐Your enemy jungler (AS AN EXAMPLE COULD BE ANY CHAMPION)"Elise" started red side to level 2 gank the enemy top, Then he paths to your Blue Side Jungle before return ganking top because no sums.
⭐you already know he didnt path to a full clear or red to blueside gank bot because he didnt walk over your trinket vision after his red.
⭐So as a support you shove the lane in hard to prioritise assisting your jungler with clearing enemy blue buff/scuttle if anyone is going to collaspe on him, your enemy botlane cant collaspe without losing creeps. Enemy mid - did he exhaust all his mana to shove lane? Do you guys win the 3v3? your mid in a typical soloq environment probably wont collaspe in this scenario because he is shoved in and losing those waves of creeps is not worth your jungler getting a blue side clear.

This is just one situation where your jungler ( evelynn) is full clearing red side enemy jungle and is spotted topside, enemy jungle so your jungler typically will invade enemy blueside. This is fine, but if your botlane does not have prio then your jungler will get collasped on and die, he will then tilt and blame his entire team for him forcing a bad trade. thats why it is imperative to get lane pressure as a soraka you have the strongest level 1-2

If the enemy team has a hook/engage support I tell my team to 5man stack a bush, since hook champions are at their weakest at level 1, this allows your team to get free kills in a stacked bush vs people that face check you, in high elo i have a 95% succession rate with cheesing bushes as a 5man stack with minimal deaths.
I try to always buy a pink each back! DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE VISION CONTROL
I try to secure level 2 first but autoing the second wave of minions with my adc, it takes 3 melee minions+ first wave to hit level 2, before the last minion dies ping your enemy adc/sup and start moving over before the last minion dies. synergize an all in engage on them, they cannot win the trade and the best overall outcome is you get a kill or burn their summoners.
In the Event that they get the level 2 first Respect it And LEAVE EARLY BEFORE THEY ENGAGE ON YOU.
If you need to recall try to help your adc TO PUSH THE LANE, try to prioritise killing the backline minions.
When to Recall/ Lane Mangement
1) If you have gotten kills in your lane and need to back.
2) You have alot of gold, try and push on a cannon wave so you dont lose alot of exp/gold.
3) So your adc recalled at a bad time and they are shoving the lane into your turret? IF IT IS SAFE TRY TO PULL THE WAVE AWAY FROM THE TURRET AND SHIELD YOURSELF
4) Concept of farming minions under turrets, auto the casters once to allow them to get last hits before they get their AD items (BF SWORD/EXECUTIONER)
Lane Spacing
I try to always stand behind minions vs hook champs its important to sometimes take a step back and re-evaluate a play before you make it.
When vsing all in champions Save your Q to peel yourself and your adc.
Vsing tanks I will walk up with my adc and play aggressive early, Janna is a lane bully after all.
If I'm using my Q aggressively in lane I will try to prioritise using it in fog of war for poke with comet/engage.
Thought process of rotations
Now you could go top lane to put your losing top in a better lane to come back to the game. But if dragon is still up - you're sacrificing dragon pressure by sending 2 top to a lane that may or may not have tp. Which is not that great decision making. But if your top is winning lane/ or just going even you could go mid, going mid with your adc is great and usually this is the lane I go to because this gives you the most map pressure you are equal distance to rift herald/dragon. Getting mid turret tier 1 or even tier 2 if you have rift herald opens alot of the map up to ending the game in the mid/late game which I will discuss in the late game section.
This is a game of chess play it slow and play it front to back, if your top has tp and has top prio he can split bot and apply inhib pressure while you get vision control on baron and try and end the game. Make sure you stick together protect your backline and let them know it will be okay.
Late game which comes down to the fundementals of team fighting playing front to back, peeling your backline, Do not forget elixirs and using your item actives.
