BUILDS
CHAPTER I:
BUILDS

In order to win, you need a good build and a decent strategy. So in this chapter i will explain the builds i showed above.

1.The Hybrid Bruiser Build (My favorite atm)

-This is one of the builds i prefer because it deals enough damage in every part of the match, gives you much movement speed that can help you go in / escape fights and you have a decent post-minute 5 clear since you rush tiamat. I know Stridebreaker might sound weird to buy on Shaco, but after using it for a few hundreds of matches, i can proudly say it works better than expected. Taking Tier 1 Boots after Tiamat will help your gank performance a lot, then finish Stridebreaker. This item will help you slow enemies and also fasten your clears.

How to choose Tier 2 Boots:

a)Boots of Swiftness;
-These boots will give more than enough movement speed and reduces slows by 25%, which is really good for Shaco. Thing is, you need to join and leave fights a lot, it's like a rotation. You should take these boots in most of the matchups, but i will explain the other choices below.

b)Sorcerer's Shoes;
-I usually take these boots if the enemy team has atleast 2 tanks, like let's say, K'Sante, Nautilus, Mundo because you will need the Magic Penetration in order to damage them. Of course, they slow you a lot, and yes, the Swiftness Boots will help with the slow 25% reduction. NO. These boots pair greatly with Liandry's Torment and your Shiv's Damage [E].

c)Ionian Boots of Lucidity;
-These are very situational, but i usually take them if the enemy team has fast cooldowns and i need to poke and run with Shiv [E]. In this situation i would swap Eclipse for Luden's Companion to get more poke burst damage.

This build has a mixed playstyle between lethality and burn builds. Meaning, you will go for backstabs early, using your Stridebreaker, use active to slow them and then Shiv [E] for securing the takedown. After going into mid-game when you have Liandry's Torment, you can use your boxes tactically around objectives (usually close to the Drake's / Grub's alchove entrance to cut any way of interaction. You could also try to place a box behind the wall to stop any flanking insects, put the box around the blast cone or on the sides to block the way to the blastcone.

2.The AP Burn Build

-I usually use this build when the enemy team consists of long ranged champions, like annoying marksmans (Vayne, Draven, Ashe), really fast junglers (Briar, Vi, Ekko, Warwick) or just HP tanks (Cho'Gath, Mundo, Alistar).

The playstyle for this build is very strategic, because you can't go in for backstabs most of the time, so your primary damage source will be the Box [W] or Shiv [E], but also your Clone [R] when baiting, or going in to ult and run away.

Same as for the other build, place your boxes near objectives because you need vision everywhere and most of the times, your enemies will walk into them if placed in unexpected places,

Ionian Boots of Lucidity are the better option here, but if you see that the enemy team builts mostly magic resistance, you could buy Sorcerer's Shoes to deal significantly more damage. Haste boots are better for spell rotations so you can place more boxes and poke faster when holding an objective or flank position.

3.The Classic Lethality Build

-This is the basic Shaco Lethality build, nothing special. I hardly ever use this, only when the enemy team contains 5 squishy champs, but that's extremely rare.

The playstyle for this build is simple, go towards enemy while inside [Q], backstab them, dead. EASY

Don't forget you are really squishy while playing lethality and may die in a second if you do a miss-play.

This is mostly a jungle Shaco Guide, but i will try to find more builds on other lanes as well!
CLEARS
CHAPTER II:
CLEAR

First of all, the most *cough* important thing, CLEARS. There are 2 ways to start your match:

1.Blue Side

- You start by placing 3 boxes on your blue camp (First box at minute 0:51). Then you pick [Q] and place a box on your way to Gromp, use [Q] and backstab the Gromp. After that, you bait the Gromp into the box you placed previously, until you kill it. Next step, you go Wolves, kill them, no problem at all. Considering you finished these steps, the next thing is to look mid, is it gankable? IF yes, go gank, IF not, don't, continue your clear. Killing Wolves gives you level 3, so pick [W] again, for more damage. [Q] to pass the Raptor wall and place a box in the middle of the camp, kill the birds, go Red Buff, then Krugs.

- IF you did this well, the clear should end at about minute 3:10 - 3:20 at most. Go rush the Scuttle Crab, if lucky, take both, then look for a gank, if you can't gank, do your Gromp since it respawned, then Wolves again, and RECALL. Buy Tiamat, or whatever build you chose and go top or bot side, depending on the situation.

2.Red Side

-You start by placing the 3 boxes at Raptors, same as the blue side clear, go Krugs and then Red Buff. After these 3, continue to blue side or look for a gank, same as the previous guide.
GANKS
CHAPTER III:
GANKS

After clearing your jungle, try checking all your lanes if there is a gank posibility.
You want to be as sneaky as possible, but if they see you, try to walk away and ping your laner to make enemy believe you are gone, but then you re-gank, from a different angle. If the enemy recalled or backed up under turret, you either look for camps, invade or gank another lane.

First thing when ganking, is using [Q] to get behind enemy, about 4 - 5 teemo shrooms distance and place a box [W] away from the wave (if it's pushed) or in front of the wave (if it's coming right now) to trigger it and fear the enemy. Try to use your Shiv [E] to either slow the enemy or to finish them off / or use Ignite. There's not that much to know for early ganking.

Counter-ganking is also easy. You have ult now, meaning you can bait them into thinking that YOU'RE THE CLONE, but in fact, you're just setting up boxes for them to fall into. If they are trying to run under turret and you have a tanky support, just send the clone [R] into the turret to be targeted and explode for some bonus damage while your support is going for a dive to keep them in place.
OBJECTIVES
CHAPTER IV:
OBJECTIVES

Fill objective area with boxes strategically. Place 1 or 2 boxes around the Blast Cone behind objective walls, or 1 on the Blast Cone. Next, you want 1 or 2 boxes in near bushes, where you think the enemies will come from, and finally, one box in the middle of the river, usually where the Scuttle Crab spawns (be sure you or your team took the Scuttle Crab before starting objectives). Place a Control Ward as well to defend Objective from wards, usually placed in the middle of the Objective Circle, slightly off-centered to the river, so the enemy cant hit it from behind the Objective wall leading to jungle. This way you can prevent ambushes from every angle. If you want to hold bushes (Let's say you didn't have enough time to ward the bush going to Blue Side or Red Side if at Grubs) you can send your Clone there and it will be at the limit of teleportation. They either kill the Clone and get damaged, or you move a little and bring the Clone near you to repositionate it or damage the Objective for a lot of burst damage and finish it off.

If you're going for an early Drake and you don't have anyone to help you take drake, or you know the enemy jungle is top-side, your box is considered your best friend. Place it near the drake, at the limit of the box's hitbox, so it won't be damaged by the Drake. Considering you have Tiamat or the 900g Burn Item, it won't be a problem securing it. You can also use ult for double the damage. If the enemy bot-lane comes to contest, simply send your ult on them to scare them off and patiently wait for your bot-lane to come pressure them as well.
MATCHUPS
CHAPTER V:
MATCHUPS

Here are some of the matchups i consider a challenge:

1.Briar

- Early Game: Avoid direct confrontations. Focus on efficient farming and look for gank opportunities in lanes where your allies have crowd control.

- Mid to Late Game: Utilize your Box [W] to set traps in key areas, anticipating Briar's engages. Your clone [R] can be used to bait her abilities, creating openings for your team.

- Itemization: Go for the Hybrid Bruiser Build

2.Volibear

- Early Game: Avoid fighting Volibear in extended trades. He can sustain and outlast you in duels. Focus on farming efficiently and ganking instead.

- Mid to Late Game: Use the Box [W] defensively to kite his engages. Your clone can absorb his [R] dive, reducing his impact.

- Itemization: Also go for the Bruiser Build. You can swap Blade of the Ruined King with Eclipse

3.Nocturne

- Early Game: Track Nocturne’s jungle path and set deep wards to anticipate his level 6 power spike. Invading before he hits level 6 can slow his momentum.

- Mid to Late Game: Stick close to your team to minimize the impact of his ultimate. Use the Box [W] to disrupt his dives.

- Itemization: Here is a matchup where i like AP burn build over Hybrid. Buy Zhonya’s Hourglass instead of Torchfire.

4.Jarvan IV

- Early Game: Be cautious of his early-game ganks and invades. Place defensive wards and avoid fighting him directly in the jungle.

- Mid to Late Game: Use [Q] to dodge his ult [R], and place the Box [W] in chokepoints to disrupt his engages.

- Itemization: Go for Bruiser build, but buy Sorcerer's Shoes to deal more damage to him, and maybe buy Sterak's Gage instead of Eclipse if you see things aren't going so well.

5.Nidalee

- Early Game: Be mindful of her early invades. Set up the Box [W] near your buffs to deter her aggressive plays. Try to counter-invade if you have lane priority.

- Mid to Late Game: Avoid getting poked down before fights. Use [Q] to close gaps and force her into melee range, where she is weaker. Utilize your clone to soak her [Q].

- Itemization: Abyssal Mask instead of Riftmaker, use Stridebreaker to stick to her in fights.

EXTRA:

Other matchups are kinda easy, and going for Hybrid Bruiser build might be enough to win.
SKINS
CHAPTER uhh, i'm sorry, i can only count to 5:
SKINS

While this isn't really a guide, looking fancy on the field might boost your mental, and intimidate your enemies.

SO, *cough* i usually go for these skins:
- NUTCRACKO (do i even need to say why?)
- ASYLUM SHACO (again, i don't... need to say anything at all)
- WINTERBLESSED SHACO (looks cool, not gonna lie, i suggest using chromas if possible, they look dope)
