I will not add much info here, just focus on farming with your Q/aa/passive (NEVER YOUR BUBBLE). Bubble is paramount to have to escape ganks or to prep for your own jungler to gank.

Remember to roam a lot, Zoe is a crazy good roamer with her bubble being able to travel through walls. 1 bubble hit and the roam is almost a garanteed success.

Basic mid player info, LEARN TO PLAY WITH YOUR JUNGLER, make sure to 90% of the time have the pixel ward in river warded, both to make sure that scuttle is clear for your jungler to take and to warn you from ganks. The side that you put your ward on is the side you will play on. If you ward the bottom pixel brush then stay on the lower side of mid and vice versa.

JUNGLER: If your jungler is in his topside jungle then try to get a ward in the topside river and/or on of the bushes and play on the upper side of mid. If your jungler gets invaded make sure to be the first one to be there and help, if there is a scuttle fight then help your jungler win the fight and get scuttle.

LANE PRIO is essential as a midlaner, lane prio basically means that you are pushing in and being able to come to an objective (baron, drake, your jungle) before the enemy midlaner, I can't stress this point enough.

SUMMARY Play with your jungler, if he wants botside scuttle then you control ward pixel bush and play on the lower side of lane, is drake coming up? Do the same thing, is rift herald up and ready to take then play on the upper side of the lane and ward the top side river pixel bush. Zoe have insane scaling which makes macro soooo important, macro = objectives ( drake, scuttle, towers, rift, baron ).
