With his high damage in lane and his movement and attack speed steroid in lane it makes it a very tough match up for Sivir. try to harass with Q in order to gain a slight edge. Stayong back and farming is always the correct thing to do against Draven unless brought low with Q and W harass.
Introduction
I am currently in Gold 4 and have been playing this game since June of 2013. Recently I have taken a liking for Sivir for Ranked 5's and Solo/Duo queue due to her high mobility and ability to help the team with engage and disengage. Sivir is my go to marksman because of her great mobility and how powerful and game changing her ult can be for positioning and engagements.
With the release of Season 5 we saw some nerfs to the LS Quint to 1.5% from 2%. Due to this change I run 3 AS Quints because you get a 3% LS bonus from the Doran's Blade start. Armor Seals, and Magic Resist Glyphs are also quite standard. Take a Full Attack Damage marks as well to compliment your Attack Speed Quints.
Pros:
-Good poke in lane
-Has a spell shield to block abilities
-Has a great ultimate for engage and disengage
-Not mechanically strenuous
Cons:
-Low range for an ADC/Marksman (500)
-Doesn't scale amazingly due to only 2 damaging abilities and not high scaling damage
-Ult takes some getting used to
-No escape or CC
Sivir is a great Solo/Duo queue ADC/Marksman. Although she is good for Solo queue I find her a very strong ADC as well in Ranked 5's play. Because you are generally in a Skype call with friends it allows you to communicate much better about your Ult and positioning wise. It also allows you to get some better peel.
Overall we can see that Sivir can be a very strong pick for the ADC/Marksman role in both Solo/Duo queue and Ranked 5's play. Remember to know your match ups and play to them accordingly. Always try to use Q and W to out poke the opposing ADC and gain an edge in lane if you want to all in.
Thanks for reading this guide. Looking forward to seeing you on the Rift!!
