Champion Build Guide
Why Syndra?
So you may be asking why Syndra and not a meta jungler like Elise or Karthus. You see Syndra provides a couple of things that those champions cannot. Syndra is the pick that you make when you require a source of early game magic damage. She has the wave clear and jungle clear of a Karthus while having the ability to burst down targets that would be considered tanks early game. This is mostly due to the fact that she does magic damage and most junglers will take armor in their rune page. So if you are looking to hard stomp the first 10 mins and then transition that into a win then Syndra is you new favorite champ.
Skill Order
For skill order, you shall level Q then E then W and max in the same order. Syndra is able to clear her jungle much more easily than other AP junglers because her Q is on a 4 second CD at 1st level and can be cast while moving. This allows you to kite your camps easily while taking minimal damage. You max Q first because it increases your clear speed and gives you more damage in ganks. The next skill you will max is your E, this will allow you to gank more often and is a large portion of your "long engage range" seeing as how if you Q and then push your sphere away with E you will be able to stun a target at just about 1000 range (for reference that's about 10 teemos in length and more than any ADC's auto range). Finally, you max W second seeing as it doesn't offer as much as the other abilities.
Playstyle
Syndra is a champion that excels in the early game because of her decent wave clear and her ability to spam her q. This makes her playstyle aggressive because if she does not take advantage of her early game lead then she will be out scaled by the enemy jungler. You need to be constantly looking for gank opportunities and for times when you are able to counter jungle. Since Syndra is ranged she is a menace against melee champions, provided that you can space appropriately.
Jungle Clear
I have found the most success by starting at my blue buff and then going directly to wolves into raptors and red buff. Then looking to invade or gank a lane with my level 3 power spike. This allows me to get early pressure and start developing a lead for my team. I want to stress that Syndra is not a "farming" jungler and should not be played like so. If you are not looking to snowball by rapid ganks and by invading then you should look for another champion that would suit you better.
Build path
For your build path, it is decently simple. You will want to go for your jungle item and then into Zhonya's Hourglass. This provides such a good amount of resistance early and a lot of damage. I also cannot stress how much value an early Stopwatch will give in the jungle, both for diving and for those moments where you might get caught out but you have enough with your kit and Stopwatch to then stall for your team. You then will go into Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Liandry's Torment for a source of constant damage. With the extra HP that these items give you and the amount of damage you can then put out, it makes them an easy choice for our easy 3rd and 4th items. Finally, for your last item, you can pick whatever gives you the most value in the situation, be that a Void Staff or a Morellonomicon or even a Rabadon's Deathcap.
Thank You
In these times of League of Legends, it's hard for people to think outside the box and experiment with fun champs and builds, so I just want to thank you for reading this and if you have any questions feel free to send me a DM and I will try and get back to you.
