Darius
Darius is just really hard to 1v1. His grab range is just about your attack range and if he gets your mid jump you can just say bye. Try to avoid this matchup since even armor wont save you.

Hello summoners!
I am Scrublord Brian from Runeterra Ravens, and I will keep it short in the Chapter parts since a lot is already explained in the notes. So i will not do a chapter on Items, Runes and masteries, I will just talk a bit about playstyles and a chapter why you go Tank gnar.

Let's be straight here.
Gnar has terrible ratios. You main damage source is
Hyper / Wallop and not your Q, and if you are full AD you can be bursted down when you
Rage Gene into the enemy team, which they will. As tank
Gnar with a triforce you have everything you need.
Just take it from me that tank
Gnar is for now the best
Gnar.

Just take it from me that tank

Early game is pretty straight forward, you will just try to
Boomerang Throw / Boulder Toss followed by 2 AA to proc the
Hyper / Wallop, you can also mix it up by doing AA - Q - AA or just AA - Q - AA, try not to take too much dmg for the minions because believe me, they can deal A LOT. After the nerfs around 5.1-5.3 you should consider that your MegaGnar will have a longer cooldown and your Q will take noticably longer to come back. HOWEVER, they did not touch the damage of our buddy and you will still be able to gain that free elo!
When your enemy gets low you got 2 options. If your
Rage Gene is still off you can
Hop / Crunch onto - over him to cut off his escape and you will kill him with W and Q. However if your
Rage Gene is almost there you will
Hop / Crunch on a minion in front of him and immediately
GNAR! your enemy back, or against a wall. Follow it up quickly by
Hyper / Wallop and
Boomerang Throw / Boulder Toss. From there on it is similar to
Olaf chasing. You throw your Q and pick it up, keep cc'ing and eventually you will kill your target.

When your enemy gets low you got 2 options. If your

Look for the roam, you have good ganks with your slows and since you will go Tank Gnar you can easily dive. If your team is winning you can splitpush even without TP, you will most likely be so strong that you can even 2v1 if you keep your
Rage Gene in check, the key to Gnar is not being afraid and knowing your damage. Even with your 200 ap and 200 mr you deal so much damage, even though you do not have pushing power the threat of a gnar splitting will give your team easy dragons.

Try to always get your
Rage Gene to transform in the jump to Mega Gnar and
GNAR! their entire team, from here on you can defend your carries really well especially if you have Elixer of Iron because their team can not ignore your damage. If you decide to hunt some enemy carries beware that you do not get outkited in Mega Gnar but as soon as your
Rage Gene is over you chase. Try to not start a fight in
Gnar since it will be really awkward for you because you need to keep your distance to deal damage while you should be the tank.

Try to make clear to your jungler to focus 100% on the bottom and midlane. You do not want your jungler to come to top. I could write three paragraphs about this but I will keep it short.
- If your jungler is top, they can do dragon.
- A kill on bot or mid is much more valuable than a kill on toplane
- You will probably already bait a jungler to your lane, so it is even easier for your jungler to be around dragon.
- Even if you lose lane, you will be valuable as a tank lategame, if one of your carries loses lane, then you have a bigger problem.
- My favorite toplane is a complete 1v1 toplane. Since
Gnar has a lot of killing potential if you outplay your enemy, you will 99% of the time win lane.
- Really, if your jungler is seen top, your enemies have 1001 possible counterplays on another part of the map.
