(Q) is to be maxed out first then (W), and then your ulti then (E). A good combo that i have found, if you are just harrassing them use simple Q, R. Thugh if you are dedicated to kill them, this combo will kill almost every kind of champion, if they are not fed, it is E,Q,R,W,W...if that doesnt kill them then spam Q from then on until your others come off cooldown.
