Twisted Fate is a mage that is heavily reliant on gold and items to become a scary force on the map. He can teleport to almost anywhere with his ultimate, Destiny/Gate. Twisted Fate has two passives ( Loaded Dice and Stacked Deck) and technically six abilities ( Wild Cards, Pick A Card, Blue Card, Red Card, Yellow Card, Destiny, and Gate).

Pros • Gets More Gold with Loaded Dice • Wild Cards has a Huge Range • Gate has a Huge Range • Not many Mana Problems with Blue Card

Cons • Extremely Item Reliant • Squishy • Destiny/Gate has a Long Cooldown • No Mobility Spell or Escapes besides Gate

Flash is crucial for every single champion, including Twisted Fate, since it gives mobility to all champions and allows distance over terrain. Ignite allows more offense and finishes off enemies that escape your combo.

Alternatives

OR	You can take Barrier or Heal instead of Ignite because Twisted Fate is very squishy. Both of these summoner spells will help make up for Twisted Fate's squishiness. My preference is Barrier because it shields more than Heal heals. Heal is also countered by Ignite.

Exhaust allows Twisted Fate to survive burst or DPS damage, therefore protecting his squishy self.

Sorcery is for more cooldown reduction.

Butcher is for farming.

Feast is for receiving some health and mana when you farm.

Mental Force is for scaling AP.

Arcane Mastery is for flat AP.

Archmage is for more AP overall.

Spell Weaving is for more damage when you use Wild Cards right after Pick A Card.

Executioner is for more damage on enemies that have low health.

Devastating Strikes is for hybrid penetration.

Arcane Blade is for more damage when you use basic attacks and Pick A Card.

Havoc is for more damage overall.

Recovery is for more health regeneration.

Enchanted Armor is for more armor and MR.

Veteran Scars is for more flat health.

Block is for proceeding to the next mastery row.

Juggernaut is for more maximum health. You can switch this mastery to Hardiness for armor or Resistance for MR. This depends on your enemy lane opponent.

OR

Rushing one of these items after getting Boots and Sheen will give Twisted Fate massive mana regeneration so that he doesn't need to use Blue Card as much as he would without one of these two items. These two items also grant a massive amount of cooldown reduction, allowing Twisted Fate to cast abilities more often. Get Morellonomicon if your enemies are mostly AD. Get Athene's Unholy Grail if your enemies are mostly AP.
