About the Author
I play Olaf, I am decent mastery with him, haha this is a bad authors note, and I don't think you need to build a bunch of stupid things to win as Olaf.
Olaf Need To Know Facts
If you think that building life steal on Olaf is very good. Your wrong, Olaf is nice because he can survive early 1 v 2's and he already has lifesteal built into his kit. Another thing that you shouldn't do on Olaf is build an item that is mainly just giving you attack speed. Depending on the meta lifesteal is optional but don't exchange it for more defencive stats if they are required.

As Olaf Jungle you don't want to be full health early game as the lower you are the better and that is one of the reasons I say to not get potions first. The second reason why you don't get potions starting is because you have one of the fastest healthiest clears in the game.

A good Olaf player will maintain a good amount of health which they have learned is a good amount of health to have when you are fighting/dueling.

The reason why I wouldn't usually go for a gore drinker on Olaf is due to the fact that I think that if you got it you would have too much healing and you don't want too much healing on Olaf. Plus to try to maintain your power across the game and you built the lifesteal to survive early game your going to need even more of it to survive damage. Other than that you could build health and damage, but the more health you get the smaller that healing is on your health bar.

So if you want to build life steal on Olaf you would have to max out your resistances to the most efficient health:resistances ratio so that you take the least amount of damage while having no extra health allowing you to heal back that health insanely fast but im sure that if you try this it is quite hard to do that effectively.

Sunfire Aegis because its good, health, damage, and you attack fast enough to make good use of the stacks, its really fun to see the erupting flames explode around you as you just take more damage and you start shredding the enemy team down slowly also allowing you to do the most damage on the whole team.
The Olaf Build

Olaf Build Information for the best Olaf players out there reading my build/guide.

The Normal build makes use of the fact that you are being brutally battered in the fight by having you build a Sunfire Aegis, this a allows for more damage, with the passive, which causes flames to engulf the area around you, the more you get hit the more flame there is, same with Olaf, the idea is solid, you want to get hit and get low and then power through with your healing and brute viking strength and courage.

The rest is just staying tanky and more damage that might not all be straight damage.

The Alternate build is really just the bad build, honest, don't build that unless something stupid happens where you need more health to stop magic damage champions who you don't want to build magic resist to stop. I do that all the time, magic resistance defense items are just bad, and they are dumb. So instead, my solution is just more health, bigger and more health, that's why you build a Titanic Hydra and a gauntlet.

Attack damage on Olaf is really fun, but I mean, he really just has enough attack damage with his core build without the mythic so you can just swap it, and be smart. Thornmail does a lot of damage if you just run at the enemy teams adc, the adc will kite you or try, they will never get away, every Mundo or Olaf player knows that once your in sight there is no turning back because your the only way they can heal off some Triumph.

I don't know why people just don't submit to the power and just die, they would respawn faster and usually they are wasting their own time more than the person who is chasing them down.

Just running into the thick of it hoping your team helps is sometimes not trustworthy, which is why you just go for whoever you can kill sometimes just to get something to heal off of. Thats all it is, they don't know that when you kill the 0/7 useless Lulu, they might feel like they have been violated if you told them they were just health to you so make sure to not give a reason why you killed them.

Now the key thing to beating this Olaf build if you were wondering how to not get countered, is just make sure your fighting for more then you think you should. If you think your going to die, just stay, wait for them to start sweating when your Quinn top goes off the map, they start running and then you have a free kill and your laughing because you would have died if your Quinn top hadn't recalled tricking the enemy victim. Of course I don't think Quinn would recall at a time like that which would probably mean a rift herald, but stuff happens and you can't explain them, don't try to, and you will win the game.

League of Legends is full of unexplainable problems, and upsetting events, you just gotta make up some stupid name for a series of problems, one of mine is the about how Bronze players are better than Silver players, about a reason for something for every champion. I just make names up for these problems and when I type about the stuff that happens, people just kinda sit there and ask, what am I saying because instead of explaining how at a certain point after beating a Kayn to a pulp, he just kinda gets that one item and has a very very large health-bar and just decides to heal through Grevious wounds and then move onto acing your whole team and then you lose out of the blue to a guy who shouldn't have come back if League didn't have a Bermuda Triangle of anomalies.
