Introduction
I decided to main Urgot because his ultimate was one the most unique abilities I have ever seen on LoL, and he is really fun to play with because you feel unstoppable.
This is my first ever guide on mobafire so please bear with me.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- High damage
- Tanky
- Long range ultimate
- Counter ganks
Cons:
- Highly dependent on E
- Ultimate not that effective in teamfights (Time-lapsed Ultimate)
- Big Target for skill shots
Urgot is not considered a tanky champion, more like a bruiser. However this build will balance them both.
Urgot is a champion which can dominate in close range and teamfights. Urgot is NOT used to chase down 3 enemies by himself as he can easily be focused on and killed.
Urgot EXCELS in engages while being ganked by a teammate or an enemy or initiating a team fight.

Urgot design makes him most suitable in making 'aggressive plays'.
His main role in the team is to absorb as much damage for his team as possible and using your Q and E combo to pick out the enemy adc/carry.
You can 1v2 early game without breaking a sweat or you can go all in for 1 enemy champion and delete them with your legs and ultimate.
In teamfights your legs are not that effective as you just wasted them by doing AOE damage on multiple champions.

The current state of the game is considered "Snowballing". This is due to state of the mastery system and how it effects games in general.
Urgot Runes
The section you will want to choose is "Resolve".

Next is "Aftershock". Works really well into late game which gives bonus armor and magic resistance. Synergies well with your E.

"Font of Life". Works well in teamfights mainly through your "E" which gives your allies bonus lifesteal.
"Conditioning". Gives you more resistance to spells and attacks allowing for better trades in early/mid game.
"Revitalize". VERY effective as it scales with Urgot's W which gives you a 5% Boost in damage absorption on your sheild and an additional 10% if below 40% health.
Next you will want to choose
"Precision".
"Tenacity" Great for late game as it reduces CC effects by up to 20%.
Last of all is "Coup de Grace" which provides you an increase in 9% damage to targets below 40% Health which synergies with your ultimate for an easy execution.

Next you will want to choose

A machine gun which shoots 3X per second for 4 seconds which totals for 12 shots. Scaling %HP damage with level.
Using your Q or E first will make your W lock onto them. If you don't the W will randomly fire at other minions/champions in your range.
Your combo can drain your mana if not used correctly and can force you into a tight spot as your W is your main damage dealer. However if you have noticed this build synergies with your shield giving you a MASSIVE BOOST in damage absorption when your W is active. This works really well in teamfights.

ULTIMATE THAT PUTS OTHER ULTIMATE'S TO SHAME
The chem-drill will execute anyone below 25% HP. However this ability can be countered by items such as Guardian Angel. It can also be countered by invulnerability or counter debuff items.
A drill is fire at a great range which attaches to the first champion hit. This ability is not useful for teamfights as you can hit the wrong champion which and if that champion does not fall below 25% HP in 4 seconds, then the ultimate is rendered useless.

Use your Q first to slow the enemy and then use your E to place the enemy behined you and press your W instantly and stay on them for maximum damage while taking rotating around them so your legs can explode and deal damage at the same time.
When they fall below 25% health, use your ultimate making sure you don't miss and bring them in for execution.
Use your after effect from your ultimate as it fears the enemies around you giving you a great advantage in teamfights.
