Introduction

Hello and welcome to my Wukong guide. The champion Wukong is build like an off - tank AD type of character that can clean up team fights or engage them into an ace for your whole team. Wukong is a GODLY solo top champion and when played right can give you a penta kill while taking almost no damage at all.

Items

For items I like to get a Frozen Mallet always for the tankiness and the AD with the procs it gives you allows you to catch up to your target. Also on AD Wukong I like to grab a Youmuu's Ghost Blade for the active plus the crit gives you a nice damage increase. On tank Wukong I like to grab a Warmog's Armor first followed up by a Frozen Mallet again for the extra AD. I like to get Sunfire Cape for the armor and health it goes great with an item like Thornmail which I like to grab last if the enemy is AD heavy. If the enemy is AP heavy you should go for a Quick Silver Sash which is like a Cleanse with extra magic resist to follow it up.

Runes

For runes I grab health armor and magic resist for my tank runes. For AD Wukong I like to grab AD runes mainly while getting armor penatration marks.

Farming

When you farm as Wukong try to harass your opponent by using your E and if needed W out of it. Farm whenever possible and if need use your E to farm in an AoE. Farming as Wukong is simple but when you want to kill someone try to wait until level 6 so you have CC to follow up with what you are doing unless you have a jungler with heavy CC like Nautilus.

Team Work

Working as a team is great with Wukong for instance if you have an Amumu on your team when he ultimates you can as well doing heavy damage and CCing them for a great amount. Focus on when your team needs helps and clean up fights to ace the enemy after a fight if you are late. If you aren't late for the fight and you are going in be sure to be the last one in as AD Wukong so you have the chance to get kills and a less of a chance to get focused in a fight.

Combos and Playstyle

Your main combo is to use your W to initiate or retreat. When you are going n use your E to get in and when you auto attack use your Q for a double attack animation for faster attacks and more damage. The style of this champion is to clean up or initiate.
