Let's analyze the build for a bit..I know you will tell me that this build doesnt have any cdr at least in the early-mid game and you will be right as zed is pretty strong with a lot of cdr..however eclipse, youmuus and edge give u crazy assassination advantage

Boots are depending on the situation

Also the last items are also depending..u must buy chempunk for example if they have healers

At 9 lvl with lucidity and trancendence u have 25 ability haste which is 20% cdr which is a really nice amount for zed considering we have full assassin items till then

IMPORTANT NOTE.1:To be honest i believe that this build is a bit extreme and requires a lot of experience to work perfectly so i wouldnt recommend it for players who are new and wanna learn the champion..probably it will be better to choose some cdr items with sustain like black cleaver which is a perfect example

IMPORTANT NOTE.2: A lot of people believe that zed requires a lot of cdr as soon as possible however zed CANT use this cdr effectively and the reason behind that is his energy...by using 1 full combo zed falls to 1/4 of his energy which needs aproximately 10 secs to refill so as u understand spamming q or e every 2-3 secs doesnt really help..only blue buff can help this playstyle

1.The runes i personally prefer is domination and sorcery

If u want extra assassination you can change ultimate hunter for relentless hunter but i believe your ulti will have high cooldowns as we dont go for cdr build

2nd tree can also be precision with presence of mind and coup de grace but i like a lot the haste from transcendence


2.Well a useful way of dealing with tanks is choosing precision runes because they give you scaling damage ( conqueror) and better dps (alacrity +att spd bonus) as a nice energy restoration to sustain more ( presence of mind)

You can also change your build to suit with these antitank runes like building black cleaver fast or seryldas

However if you have never used these runes before it will seem a bit strange for you cause of the electrocute proc which is missing..if you are used to normal runes then choose them , it s not that big deal they can also do work
