Hi, I've been playing Zilean alot and thought why don't make a guide so people can see how I play him. Zilean is very fun to play, and I think he is one of the best champions in LOL.

Pros
-Zilean does ****loads of damage
-Zileans ult makes him a good troller
-Zilean can use his ability all the time because of Rewind (W)


Cons
-Uses much mana early game
-A bit squishy like many other mages

I prefer flash and ignite, but pick what you are comfortable with.

Q - Time Bomb
You can put this bomb on everyone, even yourself. After 4 secounds it will detonate and do damage to all nearby enemy units. This does ****loads of damage. When you've used it, you can press W and use it again for double damage. If you throw it on a target who allready has a bomb, the first one will detonate and the 2nd bomb will replace the first. You'll soon find out how to use it wisely, but don't just use it on farming early game, you will quikly run out of mana.

W - Rewind
Use this often!
Use it when you've used Q to throw another bomb.
Use it when you've used E so that you can use E again - late game you can do this all the time, but early game it will drain all your mana, so only do it if you need to close a gab or to run away.
Use this when you need the coldown of your R down. I spam W in high levels after using my R - you'll be suprised how quikly you'll be able to use R again!!

E - Time Warp
Use this for more speed - but keep an eye on your mana.

R - Chrono Shift
Use this right before you die - you can also use it on friends!
Put R on before you kill an enemy in towerrange if you know the tower is gonna kill you - when you revive use your E to get away fast.
You can also use this if the enemy think he can kill you in towerrange and still get away. Simply put it on and do ****loads of damage before you "die".

Combos
Use Q then W then Q again. Additionally use E to get away. Do this alot early game to slowly kill your enemy.

Magic Penetration and Coldown-reduction runes could probably also work, but i've always played wiht full AP-runes.
