Champion Build Guide
Introduction
Hey guys, my name is Myga or Coach Myga on some platforms. I have been playing league since S5 & have been Masters/Grandmasters since S7, peaking Challenger (Currently Challenger, rank 40). I play all roles above Masters level, which gives me a unique perspective when making these guides. I've also been coaching consistently since 2020 & making youtube guides for a few years now, mostly for Jungle.
This Zyra guide should be very useful for beginner players & higher ELO players, I recently climbed to Challenger on Support to refresh my knowledge on the role & had a 63% winrate when I hit challenger, with around a 65% winrate on Zyra. I will link my account below which you can check out to see builds I took in specific games.

Pro's & Con's for Zyra
Pro's
- RNG, your passive that spawns seeds is random
- Unique playstyle, which makes the champion quite fun.
- Can 1v9 games easily, if you are playing well & get ahead.
- You aren't a useless support. You can help do objectives with your damage & also create a lot of zoning space with your spells too.
- Vision, you can scout bushes with your spells and maintain a lot of control over vision and bushes by spawning plants into them (W + Q, W + E).
- A lot of mechanics you can use to win lanes, like spawning plants to deny abilities etc
Con's
- RNG, your passive that spawns the seeds for your plants can be annoying
- Can be very squishy, especially if you get behind.
- If you get behind, you don't really deal a lot of damage
- Low mobility

Lane Phase thought process
My laning phase thought process is relatively simply, I want to try to put as much pressure on enemy ADC/Support when they are CSing, and create a HP lead. Try to avoid having every wave get pushed under enemy turret, this just leads to you getting ganked & not being able to deal as much damage to them.
I don't really play to solo kill enemies, more-so I want to force them out of lane and create tempo/xp lead for my ADC & myself, then make sure I get good roam timers to objectives (1st dragon/grubs).

Mid -> Late Game thought process
I'm saying this time is post 14 minutes, but it depends on the game - Basically I want to make sure my ADC can always keep mid priority, so that we can control enemy jungle quadrants, or atleast some of them, and then this should give us priority over the objectives. You can deny a lot of vision from the enemies with your plants to defend you while you clear vision/stop them from getting deeper vision.
Make sure you are always at the objective, it's warded well & that you are using your spells to prevent enemies from getting into positions to contest. I will probably post some gameplay videos from my challenger climb showing this on youtube soon.
