luther - you saw dat games?
the shyvana always pushed, then went for golems.
I mean even I would have got it after the 2nd time - sometimes pros are really dumb
and if they'll see the replays, they will most likely facepalm
Problem is she usually had her mid and jungle ready to back her up right away, or even going in with her. It took TSM far too long to respond to it and I don't know if CLG's teamwork would be up to the task either. I mean the reason they failed so badly at Dreamhack was pretty much bad teamwork.
Same reason why this strategy will never become popular in ranked solo. You can't rely on your mid or jungle player to instantly react and back you up if something goes wrong.
luther you ol fanboy - do you really think I remember any of those dreamhack games.
Well I remember that their teamplay was worse than ours (if we play with 4-5 premade) :D
and the mid and jungler weren't there most of the time oO at least not at 85%.
She just went to golems (solo) took them down and returned to lane

Well if Rainman had tried to stop her, she would just have turned and fought him because she was stronger all game.
What I mean is that the mid and jungler were generally nearby and reacted instantly to buffs and threats. If Regi or OddOne had come to help, M5's mid and jungle would be right behind them.

Yeah I feel like he just needed to pick a strong duelist and/or lane pushing champ to either fight her when she tried to steal, or keep the lane pushed so she couldn't leave.
I feel like the Karthus pick was bad too, since Karthus is pretty terrible in early fights.

Yeah, but it's hard to say what would have been a better pick for regi...They took away Cass, Karth has poke I suppose, and good lane sustain because of his mana back on creep kill passive from defile...But he won't help win team fights unless he gets a little bit fed...Which means his lanes would have had to win so he could Requiem....I suppose if he had actually taken TF...That could have helped his lane. Amazing range, good damage, strong utility. Overall could have been a strong pick....AD kennen bot lane though? I mean Ali+Sivir was just so bad...They might have well done Sivir+Annie bot lane...At least Annie's stun is reliable....
