Sounds fun!
Welcome to the League of Legends Champion spotlight featuring Soraka, the Starchild!
Yes, that was a banana. No one expects the banana...
Soraka is a banana-weilding goat champion who excels in throwing bananas at the enemy team, healing- and that should be just about it. Additionally- wait, no that should be it.
Soraka's passive is
Salvation (old Champion Spotlight is now wrong), Soraka now heals more when you're almost dead. Which happens. A lot.
Starcall damages all nearby enemies with stars falling from the sky. Now, since stars are not bananas, you want to be maxing this last. In fact, if you can, try not to use it all throughout the game.
Astral Blessing heals a champion and significantly raises the armor of your allies. Since this is a heal, max it first.
Infuse is another useless spell, since no one finds mana useful. This is why Soraka can no longer cast Infuse on herself. In a support build, you're going to want to max it last as well.
Wish is a OHMYGODIALMOSTKILLEDTHATASHESORAKAYUMAKEMYLAYPSOHARD type of ability. Because this makes rageworthy moments, you're going to want to max it by level 9.
For masteries, take all of the AS in the offense tree, so you can increase your banana output. In addition to fighting to heal the wounded, Soraka aims to end world hunger. Take AS runes as well. For summoner spells, I recommend two
Heals.
Because of Soraka's ability to heal herself, you're free to build as much AS as you possibly can to save the world. There's literally no risk of dying due to the large amount of health she restore. Once you reach the cap of AS with your
Runaan's Hurricane and
Phantom Dancer and
Berserker's Greaves, you're going to want more healing potential. At this point, your team will never go hungry, but take some biscuits and poro snax just in case. Purchase
Mikael's Blessing,
Guardian Angel and
Spirit Visage to further maximize Soraka's healing ability.
During teamfights, you want to throw as much bananas as you can. Despite the importance of ending world hunger, the enemy team does not deserve free food because that would not have gold efficiency, an important aspect to building a support. The bananas are meant to slip up your enemies during the teamfight.
Despite being a support, I recommend playing Soraka in the jungle. Because, jungle. And second, bananas.
Thank you for tuning into the Soraka Champion Spotlight!

Welcome to the League of legends champion spotlight featuring
Thresh is a ironically ranged tank, AD carry champion with some supportive qualities. Thresh has a ranged auto-attack and that automatically qualifies him to be the best ranged carry in the game, despite his abilities contradicting the role.
Thresh is played as a "Support" at bot lane where he waits for his carry to deal a lot of damage before stealing all kills with his auto attacks. After all, that gold is better in Thresh's pockets than a marksman.
Thresh's passive is Damnation. He gets to collect souls from dead bodies. Remember to get them all, even if you have to take turret shots to get them. They are very important. You should also stop backing to get them if they spawn during your recall.
Thresh's Q is Death Sentence. This ability does nothing because you can't honestly be expected to hit such a horribly slow skill shot. Ignore this ability and keep auto attacking.
Thresh's W is Dark Passage. No one clicks the lantern so don't bother using this ability either.
Thresh's E is Flay. This is how you deal damage and auto attack harder. Don't even charge the passive, just keep attacking. Only use the active to knock people away. Away. Always.
Thresh's Ultimate is The Box. Always use it after you've used Flay. Use the sheer fear of the walls to entice people to stand still within the Box.
Remember that your role in lane is simply to last hit every kill. When you have enough kills you have enough justification to start stealing your Marksman's farm. You are now the carry and they are your *****.
Same goes for team fights, in this example Thresh actually uses his CC abilities and his allies collect a few kills, but this is incorrect. Allow other allies to engage first then when they are low, auto attack them for tons of damage and carry the game with your amazingly high base AD.
try 21/9 masteries taking all AD and Frenzy because you'll be carrying harder than your Marksman with the same item build. I recommend all AD runes, even Seals and Glyphs, because Flay's passive scales THAT hard.
For items you wanna take an
