Lee is not in a great spot right now. Sure we've seen inSec do some mad Lee plays and that's still possible in general but he's a tad weak. His early- and mid-game are incredibly strong but he falls off pretty hard regardless of how you build him. Personally I still jungle him and do overall well with him but I do notice the limitations. Especially his E nerf really did it.

Good player = Lee Sin is god tier.
Bad player = mid-low tier.
Basically depends largely on skill.
Great player*
I used to main Lee Sin and even after a couple of weeks you still make mistakes.
Someone like Insec knows Lee Sin to the finest detail and plays him as if it is second nature to him.
If you spend the time to TRULY master Lee Sin he is an incredibly strong champion, but still.. even then I think he still falls short of some of the more commmon junglers like Jarvan IV.
I think he needs a little more love before he can reach his GOD tier again, though I doubt he will ever receieve it.
Mundo goes where he pleases.
And pleases, where he goes.

but wasnt that the problem in the first place though??
his kit is sooo good that with anymore damage he was the strongest champ in skilled hands...
I played Lee Sin a lot during one of his free weeks and every time I used his ult expect once I bombed it bad, by kicking the enemy to safety, so watch out world as of now I am a bad Lee Sin. Overall I think he is one of the best champs in the jungle, and has one of the most useful kits in just about any situation in the game.
but his nerf was necessary because in the right hands he was op because he was god tier, for a little while at least.

He's just a play-maker. And because so, he's an OP champ.
Thank you jhoijhoi, Keondre, LaCorpse, The_Nameless_Bard, Arcana3, Apfeljack, Hogopogo, eddie199, Xiaowiriamu, and JEFFY40HANDS for the spectacular sigs!
I compare playing LoL to SF (Street Fighter). To explain my meaning, in SF you have your typical good or cheap characters, but everyone, even those considered by most to be bad, are amazing in the hands of someone who has practiced playing them. In that respect, Lee Sin is nothing if not the definition of a champ you just have to learn. He's great once people know him, but based on the rest of the team's synergy with the Lee player, or if someone on the other team knows how to deal with Lee, it's more of a challenge.
In general people need to widen their thoughts towards champions and general strategies in this game, it's all about the player.

It is a lot harder for a player to have a huge impact on a game with Lee Sin then, let's say, Amumu. Not necessarily because Lee is bad, but he requires a lot more time and effort to learn. Randomly picking him and trusting your inner Insec to shine through doesn't always work (trust me, I've tried).
Overall, I think he can be good, but generally I find him a mediocre choice, just because it's so much easier to have the same sort of influence on a game with other junglers.

Lee Sin is not really that easy to have success with.. His abilities are obscure and so is his passive (I've seen many players just spam all of his abilities at once, and wonder why they have no dps). He is not weak, but is difficult to learn and learn well, unlike someone like Nocturne or Udyr. Just my 2c.

So what do you think, is Lee Top Tier? Or is Low Tier? And I say this because i haven't seen lee lately, and now that insec was baller on the champ everyone is playing him again like they think they know how....
