And M5 has skills. Yet, they are still underrated by most players. Their players ganked 24/7 and ended up with higher CS than TSM that hold their lane all the time. If they would defend jungle they would just end up being underleved and underfarmed.

They need 2 wards and teamwork to beat the strategy M5 chose to use in the Kiev.
Ward top tribush in your jungle. Ward mid.
This is where the teamwork comes in. The moment you see that ***** cross a ward, Mid, Top, and Jungle - NO MATTER WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON - go take her out. Defensive warding and a willingness to hop out of lane for a second is all it would have taken those guys.
Countless times during the Kiev I was watching and though... why...no...defensive...ward guys?
Sure, it's a waste in most games. Against their little "meta" though, I think it should be a damned near obvious decision to make.
I imagine that if Shyvana leaves lane to steal a buff and gets killed twice while doing so, not only has she wasted lane XP, screwed her buff, and left top open... but she's shut down for the rest of the game because now they have no strategy.
You're misunderstanding what happened.
TSM were well aware that Shyvana was invading their jungle. They knew exactly what M5 were doing almost the whole time. They just couldn't leave their lanes to do anything because they were getting pushed so hard, and because they had weak early picks and all their lanes got behind they would have lost a fight anyway.
Trust me, they were warding and were well aware of what was happening.
