I've been playing LOl for a while and am starting to figure out the tupe of champ I like, but i need help on exactly which champ this would be. Who is a champ who has a very good late game? I dont care about anything but the late gme if that's all they can do.

There is no 'best' late game champion, but some 'great' late game champions are vayne, kog'maw, orianna, jax and nasus. There are more but this should give you something to start with.

Karthus
Twisted Fate
Zed
Irelia
Vladimir
Tristana
Vayne
Ryze (but eventually loses his edge)

Yes but eventually that falls off too due to the nature of resistances.
