The jungle changes seems to be a bit hard for others. It makes the game a bit hard I guess. But I like the rework on Runic echoes (Because of the extra cooldown reduction and the mana.) It kinda helps AP Junglers a lot. :)
A Platinum player from Philippines. Come joim me in my games.
So, um...buffing mage junglers, sure, but which mage junglers are viable in the first place? I'm pretty sure in practice it's just an Evelynn buff.
Another interesting thing is that upgrading to Stalker's Blade doesn't give anything valuable anymore. Mana regen is the same as talisman, damage is only 5 more than machete, and burn damage only upgrades from 60 to 80 (used to be 45). So keeping the basic jungle item (machete or talisman) should be more common.

That's the whole point, it makes more mage junglers viable. If it makes Evelynn in particular too strong then they just nerf her, no problem. Meanwhile other AP junglers become more viable without having to buff all of them individually and potentially making them overbearing in the other roles they can be played.
Anyone else think the upcoming Pulsefire skins look lit or what?
The one guy who plays League for a good time just to get flamed and hated for having a rough game. Sadly, I know I'm bad at the game, but still, is there no such thing as a bad game?
How is that making them more viable, though? Mage junglers such as Evelynn, Elise, Nidalee don't care about the CDR or mana regen. Nidalee caps out on CDR in her build anyway, Eve and Elise don't particularly need it and they won't specifically itemize for it. Aether Wisp was a lot more valuable to all of them. Remember how people would buy Frostfang earlier in the season -just- because of the movement speed proc.

That was more or less what I was thinking. Fiddlesticks is the only good holder of the new Enchantment: Runic Echoes. Even on Diana it's the same issue.
So we're down to experimental stuff like jungle Ekko, Fizz or Karthus, to actually use this item.
For Evelynn, the whole point IMO is that you don't upgrade Hunter's Talisman anymore. Since talisman now gives the full benefits of the upgraded jungle item, so why waste 650 gold for an upgraded smite. Early protobelt or spellbinder = more pressure.
Oops, thought you were actually suggesting they were buffing them with this. But yeah, forgot about Fiddles, though I'm honestly not even sure how he builds now lol.
Don't think that would actually be good, though, upgraded smite is still really valuable. Regarding Eve in general, people do different builds on her, but early Morello is probably the most efficient one. Dark Seal + Revolver + Sheen is also really strong early on. However, exp changes are pushing the meta in favor of skirmish junglers, and Eve can't really deal with them in the earlier stages of the game.

I meant that's what they wanted, not that they actually ended up doing this XD

Morello, efficient? You know that Morello is literally the exact same stats as the old liandry without the liandry burn, right?

Sounds pretty solid. Probably the highest early burst.

She's pretty quick at killing scuttlecrabs tho.
But good question, which specific junglers do you think this meta favors?
